"Second chance" Tournament discussion

Here we are discussing the the [“Second chance” Tournament](< base_url >/index.php?/topic/24531-second-chance-tournament/).

Hi, any chance for team that could not register to the tournament (holiday time) to participate to this “second chance” tournament ?

Chalain

Since this being a “Second Chance” tournament does that mean same teams that actually advanced AND recieved prizes would be exempt thus not allowed to enter ?

Corporations that advanced past 1/8 are not allowed to participate.

I feel a bit confused, because the winner of this will have more prize than the 4th to 8th corps in the original tournament.

I personally will stream and comment again as much as possible

Corporations that advanced past 1/8 are not allowed to participate.

so corporations that reached 1/8 but did not advance past 1/8 get to participate? so basically everyone except the top 4?

edit: this quote states it pretty clearly.

“every team that dropped out before or during the 1/8 stage of the first Championship can participate.”

so basically everyone except the top  4   8?

Exactly. 1/8 match means, there are 8 pairs fighting (18 16 in total) and from 1/8 comes 8 winning teams to 1/4

RadiX is gonna be participating if everything goes as planned. Looking forward to it!

If I understand this correctly the event is only open to the corporations that were in the previous tournament, and of those only ones who didn’t make it past 1/8 rounds… Or am I missing something. A list if eligible Corporations would be very helpful if this is the case.
