You’re reintroducing the Invasion skin? What happened to it being a novelty? It was said to be an exclusive from so long ago, guess you guys finally caved on the whining. Gotta say I’m disappointed…  Now having it will be a norm…
In fact, giving the invasion coating as a reward is a good idea. It’s still an exclusive for some pilots who are playing from long ago and some, not all, who are playing SCL can get it.

No, it’s not. It was sold as an Exclusive, said to be a one time thing. Now they are going back on their word, and it’s obviously because the whiners complaining about not having a unique skin, or they just didn’t feel like making another reward for SCL, which is obvious since they run it so often as the only pvp event in SC. It should have remained as it was, that is all…

Its not like 2k players are getting the skin…

Why? They lied. That’s why. The skin gets boring after so long i only use it on a few ships as of now. They are just giving in to whiners that’s why i’m annoyed, not butthurt. The Devs have resorted to this kinda stuff, that’s not a good sign…

Not sure if you realised yet, but they have done this kind of stuff all the time.
For example implementing destroyers even tho 100% of all destroyer-oriented suggestions were either rejected or postponed as “not so important” stuff.

Come on. Devs are using a good bait to lure some players into SCL. It is a win-win situation. It can’t be bad for the game. It was an exclusive for so long. Even Xbox exclusives won’t last that much ”)
Devs could make another reward, but it won’t have the pull effect like the alien coating. The amount of active players with this coating is decreasing… so i think it’s a good idea. That’s all.

As one poll in game showed, almost no one is interested in SCL… what about some events for general public in december? maybe a free ship grind or something…

It’s not called whining. It’s called player demand - but you don’t know much about that, as I can see by your first post that you don’t exactly know much about online marketing, do you? xD

Absolutely. This is an exclusive reward given to players for participating in an exclusive tournament of skill, taken up by some of the best players in the game, not acquired through galactic standards like it was some time ago by literally anybody with a credit card and some money. This is an actual prize!

Here’s the thing. It’s the developer’s game. The developer can do whatever it wants to do.
Also, I’m glad you have got “bored” of the skin. Perhaps you should send it off to someone who will find it more valuable to them? Oh yeah I forgot, this game doesn’t have a trading system, but it does have forums for people to claim ignorance all over.

This is very true, actually. You’ll find that a hundred ideas for implementing new modules for gunships, recons, guard frigates, etc. have either been veto’d or taken on board pre-destroyers to set up for a massive amount of power for players to save up for to get destroyers, premium ship modules, etc. It’s Although I will only disagree with one thing - not every single module has been rejected. If they refused everything, they would be destroying the player base that has been built on Star Conflict, right…?

I agree 100%. They (the team) have known they needed to revise the basic player interests for a long time, including new players who weren’t even here before March 2015 - if they give out any more free rewards, we would get bored of the game. And it wasn’t easy - I can say this because I was also here for 3 years waiting for the opportunity to come.

Nope. Actually, since it’s been so highly requested more so than anything else, it’s probably a good idea to do so.

Yep, I just wondering why it is blocked on this channel but not on any other.
I don’t blame the devs, since nowadays you can’t really trust anyone’s word, even president-elect won’t keep his word. It’s not like having certain skin will affect game balance, so I won’t complain.
