"Satellite Crystal" debuff applying without hitting target

  1. When attacked by a detached “Satellite Crystal” the movement and maneuverability debuff applies without the projectile connecting with the target and applies during “transparency” effects.

  2. For the debuff to only apply when the projectile connects and for it not to apply during “transparency” effects.

  3. During a test scenario (and a multitude of times in PvP) I was able to be debuffed by the detached Satellite Crystal despite being in a transparency effect - in this case “Quantum Defence”.

  4. During the test scenario (Detached debuff vs Quantum Defence) I was able to be tackled the entire duration of Quantum Defence and even outside of it when the projectile didn’t connect the debuff still applied.

Due to the vagueness of the description of Satellite Crystal itself it is hard to tell how the debuff’s mechanics work exactly but; based on observation - the debuff from a detached Satellite Crystal seemingly applies a short duration debuff on hit (1 second or below) and not a constant slow/tackle as the debuff often seemingly “flickers” on and off between shots.

This is what leads me to believe this function is not working as intended as the debuff is applying regardless of the projectile from the crystal connecting or not - similar to the bug that affected “Dag’tnith Launcher” for several years.

  1. Whenever attacked by a Satellite Crystal.

  2. Logs and Video attached. Logs are the same as the report from Destablizing field bug report as these tests were done in the same session.

  3. Not relevant.

  4. Attached (again).

  5. Not relevant.

In your logs there aren’t cases when you ship was damaged under the transparency effect.

Also, in your video, I can’t see cases when you get damage without enemy’s projectile contact with your shield’s field 

The activation of Quantum Defence at roughly 0:38 shows the issue submitted. The debuff of the satellite crystal is still applying without any projectiles connecting.

The potential bug being reported is regarding the debuff applying during transparency.

I only think this is a potential bug as the flickering of the debuff at 0:06 in the video shows it turning off after a clear miss - which when the projectiles miss during Quantum Defence the debuff is still applying.

Ah okay - It was about the slow effect of the satellite crystal working without a projectile hitting me. it is hard to tell if this is the intended effect of the module or not as the description of it does not say how it works.

When a projectile misses me during the demonstration the slow effect stops which is what makes me think it is not working correctly.

А, ладно - речь шла о медленном эффекте работы кристалла спутника без попадания в меня снаряда. трудно сказать, является ли это предполагаемым эффектом модуля или нет, так как в его описании не сказано, как он работает.

Когда снаряд скучает по мне во время демонстрации, медленный эффект останавливается, что заставляет меня думать, что он работает неправильно.
