Its nerfed already. By the time LRF is preparing RT can be killed by single rocket.

The preparation is fine, but if by the time I reach the lrf in a frigate after it has already jumped away once right before, it should not be able to repeat it again and again for a couple more seconds. It has currently becomes the recon of frigates.

I agree to that. Cooldown might need a new look.

Dunno about 30 seconds, but it sounds okay; it might depend on tier.

Dang by the time I get around to manufacturing 1 of these “Revered” Reverse Thrusters it will have been nerfed to ZIP ZAT nothing…

Wondering if it is even worth it to test drive ?

Disagree. I can almost always catch up to a lrf when they reverse no problem.

AGAIN?!

HELL NO

No. Nerf them so that they can’t place minelayer while they’re getting ready to reverse.

they have been nerved dramatically and are on the radar of the overall balancing check

They have been nerfed? In what way i don’t notice any change

Reduced hull and shield by 10%; Reduced duration of EM cloak; Nerfed LRF specials; RT needs charge(which was needed)

Everything else except maybe EM cloak was overkill. If anything the JLRF special needed a buff.

Omega could kill me in his sigurdr while I was in my Ira Deus but anyone else had a lot of trouble killing me.

That’s what happens when you do empire vs. Jerricho LRFs.

Yeah, RT doesn’t need much more in terms of nerfs. 50 resist malus for 2? Seconds is pretty harsh. Just chase them once or twice, and they’ll be so far out of the way that not even their own spawn will be in sniping range.

more like OmegaFgt vs Efefay… That’s what happen when you do average pilot vs n00b

The Reverse Thruster does not need another nerf. It is fine as it is. If you can’t catch up to the LRF by the time he can RT again, you are extremely slow and probably shouldn’t have been going for LRFs in the first place. The resistance decrease nerf was plenty to balance the Reverse Thruster.

Nope.  RT are fine.  They are an escape device, and it should take you by surprise.  I don’t see it on every LRF, which means A) It’s not overpowered.  B) You can still die easily. and C) You’re vulnerable after using it.  So it’s fine.

The module it’s self is fine. The reason the can warp more often is not because of the 50s cooldown. It is because of the R13 implant reloading modules when the ship gains a kill assist.

My mauler and archdragon can do 32 seconds. I think the module is fine though, it seems balanced now. The main issue I think was the instant warp which has been changed. I still use it but I no longer feel cheap when I warp. Imo it doesn’t need to be nerfed again

Actually, I wrote my agreement after a few T5’s, and reverse thrustered now a lot in t3

In T3, i find the module quite nice and balanced atm. It actually starts to give a pattern, that a lot of these nags about modules becoming op isn’t really about the modules, but the T5 implants in reality.
