Resource exchange???

So basically all I can hear is the devs in their little thinking office going “so how can we screw over all the players (especially the vets) even more than we already have???” XD

They went “okay so if we shift all of the resources to new “enriched” or “heightened” resources, we can put extreme limits of the number of resources that pilots can gain so that they cant stock up resources for use later. That way they are forced to try to use our miserable excuse for a market system and waste resources and GS. Instant benefit and income.”

 

There is LITERALLY no reason to impose these sorts of limits. You even set the limit for old resources to 10,000, meaning that any of your excuses are immediately invalid and all lies.

And your new resources and resource exchange are just another way to force players to use your F***ING AWFUL systems. “Yeah you can keep your old things, but they are immediately useless in every way and you can no longer get them. Try our new limited items!”

 

 

This whole ordeal just… I can’t even formulate a proper sentence saying how awful this all is. Stop while you are lightyears ahead and come the f*** back. Discard your new hellish ideas for the economy and resources and just bring it back to the way it was, where there were no limits, and players could grind as much as they wanted FOR A GUARANTEED REWARD.

 

And while you’re at it, get rid of credit loot. There’s no point to anything lower than 100k any more in any rank over 6.

yeah but you will basically never need more than 500 ever. Unlike all the useful resources who’s limits are 10-20 each.

i think there are two types of game designers: gifted people who know exactly, what game they want to create, because they love to play games, and they love the players, and want to give them from their inner creativity. those deserve fame, but struggle.

then there are those, who say, there is no such thing as gifted. there is no such thing as a dream concept. you just do, and keep doing what works. you create 10, and 1 will be successful, that’s how you learn, because making a game is the same as making toast or building a bridge, just work. somewhere deep within, they start to realize, the real reason is, they are not gifted, so denying the gifts’ existence and working hard on results and their image gives them legitimacy

And this is, how sh*tgames are born.

Well, they should copy some from Warframe, like the Trading system.
