took 197 damage points (hull) from my shot (Sirius at dmg set) with an Helo Mk.4 rank 15, after an hit with the photon emitter (helo dmg about 7.700 dmg output).
That happend also in the match before, it’s not while a few seconds, it’s all the time…you cant shoot his Sibyl down.

And now see the stats of his Sibyl:
First:
From which angle of your ship do you shot(front/side/frontside/rear/rearside/below/above?
Second: The stats displayed ingame are false. They give the damage for 12 turrets, not for the max of 8 you can use.
Third: Halo is a single bullet weapon. So if you use only your rear turrets, this small damage could be possible.
My guess so: Shot with rear turrets at this sibyl.
On top of that
he could have been under Command buffs
He could have been under his Phase Shield active buff
Reducing your dmg even further
On top of that, rank 11 ships now get +55 points resistance for some stupid reason.

Someone was complaining in chat that his rank 15 Mk IV disitengrator only did 5k damage to a grizzly…

Sounds like you have only made graze and not a full hit, as always logs/vids are helpful in such cases

Looks like some one got used to shooting naked ships, since 5k Desy shot would be into a ship that has ~120 thermal resistances, which something every one should have without even +55

not all round. with adaptives maybe
why would not fly it with adaptives? Especially after it got changed to not requer AB for activation? It is like Put adaptives on everything!
And 100 thermal on hull is not necessary hard too
That happend in two mat matches, i fired round about 4-5 minutes at him.
While this i fired from all sites, we both were flying (curves etc.), not standing still.
He had no shield (fast down), hull was round about 60%, and then i can’t make any more important damage (very very less, see above).
I hope someone meets this guy in PvP, and then see…
there is also the alien crytal plate thing for hull. I didn’t read anything about maybe he was using that. resist stacks more and more with a certain cap but he may also have regen on the hull which with the resist stack and hull repair in the hull mod slots with low volume then this could happen. the more volume the harder it is to repair or longer it takes anyway.
