Own goals and inactivity in Spaceball mode is just too common. If inactivity cannot be prevented at least remove the possibility to score own goal. Players keep sabotaging matches (every second today). They either don’t do anything or help their corpmates in the opponent team.
When the game says that someone scored in their own goal, it just means that they were the last to touch the ball or hook it with a grapple. I can grapple the ball and an enemy can intercept it and make a goal and it will say I made our own goal.
Its just a little buggy in telling who did what.
And I do agree that inactive players are a huge problem.

Or lassoing through it.

Just report them…
And whenever it happens accidentaly: why remove the punishment for incompetence
