This is in Balance because it’s a blanace issue, not economy, though it can be seen as such.
Just recently, the rank 14 structures for what was supposed to be used for all dessies was renamed to be used ONLY for the sirius fed dessie. I wanted the Tyrant. Fix it.
My God, I spent about 600$ to get the TYRANT. Made structures. 300-400$ down the drain. I Demand Re-Compensation for all the players you’ve hurt BEFORE the event for the Tyrant begins. Or let us trade one structure for the Tyrant type as soon as the event begins. And like-wise for the empire dessie parts as well to keep things fair. After these events are done - THEN and only then will be be allowed to leave the resources to be used for one dessie or another individually, but right now? It’s your problem. You’ve hurt your playerbase dearly. Fix it.
I will not ever be building the Sirius or the Empire dessie. And No, I will not be grinding the events. Why do you think I paid cash??
THIS IS YOUR MISTAKE, DEVS. FIX IT!
unless you want to known as snake oil salesmen. fix it now, please.
Cinnamon, back us up here, man. funny thing is I only just purchased everything Yesterday T.T why are they screwing us over…
Although i don’t agree with everything you said and your demand for compensation because, well lol it was your decision to spend that much on the game in the first place. I agree the Devs should have told us from the start of the intentions with the destroyer parts, and yes it was very very shady that in the last 4 days suddenly “Hey, just so you guys know there will be more resources to grind!”, came across to me as sudden and a grab at more mula. There is no reason they should of withheld that important information from us since it served no purposed being hidden from us, which leads me to believe they just recently decided to do it…Still don’t believe you deserve compensation, you bought those parts and spent the money yourself, bummer…
If you want to spend 600$ to get a destroyer, then at least do it only once he is available. Spending your money before because you think it’ll work isn’t a good idea at all.
They should add a crafting recipe “Sirius structure + handful of the new resource = Tyrant structure” to appease the community. I already built the Sirius so I don’t care anymore. But all of you saying “It was your fault only” should rethink that bootlicking. It was a bad move on the developers’ side. Yes, the players should perhaps have held back on crafting those structures beforehand. But that doesn’t make what the devs did any less of a d**kmove.

(S)Targem probably decides nothing related to economy. Gaijin most likely decides everything.
So, in short, blame the Publisher, but not the Developer.

Well, gotta agree that this does have GAIJIN written all over it. But it’s not like ruining Star Conflict for a lot of players will make their own game any less of a total mess.

Are you guys kidding? Or are you really that ignorant?
In any other game the outrage would burn the devs off the stage, this is so far from okay that there’s very real grounds to be upset here.
Just because there’s nobody left playing this game to fight back doesn’t mean the practice isn’t still disgustingly abusive. If you think it’s their own fault for spending real money on an option the devs left available and encourage players to spend that kind of money, then you shouldn’t be playing video games at all, much less talking about them.
OP, ask for a refund. If you don’t get one, there are avenues you can take.
Sounds like someone was financially irresponsible and is now crying about buyer’s remorse.
No stock broker ever buys because they _believe _on a hunch. They read the graphs and know the trends and make a calculated move. Which you obviously didn’t do when you decided to spend SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS on ONE video game.
It’s OP’s own damn fault, nothing else to see here folks.

Although mecron is right, IF you havent used the items bought, like, not even one, you can get a refund at some point. Otherwise, no other options left sadly.

Lol, so let me get this straight. You’re defending the point where a person willingly purchased $600 worth of ingame currency, again willingly, to what he believed but what not was said to be fact build something he liked. Now that they changed it, and now lol it’s actually ok for him and the whole post is redundant now, but still you’re defending a person who did something to himself, and demands repercussions for his own actions. So are we going back to CareBear Conflict where if someone doesn’t like something they deserve a change to get what they want, lol he did it to himself, if he already altered the ingame contents from the original purchased state he’s voided his refund, he did it to himself, he is a adult who did the purchase himself, that’s all. Don’t Defend Someone’s Folly…
Although mecron is right, IF you havent used the items bought, like, not even one, you can get a refund at some point. Otherwise, no other options left sadly.
No. In no context in the real world would you be refunded for buying groceries that you don’t even end up using. It’s OP’s own damn fault for buying something based on a stupid hunch and not being able to use it.
A bigger game like Warframe would have even less mercy for players who buy weapons that are then outdated.
The funny thing:
If Tyrant use the structures of Sirius, doesn’t this mean that Jericho cheated Federation?
How else would you use parts of another thing(not of your collection)?
That’s like saying GM use parts for his cars from Toyota…
Strange isn’t it?
And to the balance: We don’t even know how many of those structures you would use.
If you build 1 and it would require 2(or any case built But if you have build more than needed, you are again with the problem of dead resources(wasted ones).
Story is meh and the balancing again a ‘only time will tell’ thing. Noone knows what will happen until it happened.
