Refund on premium ships?

Due to the patch, my premium ships are no longer fit for purpose, i orginally bought this item to help me progress in the game. i’ve noticed now you’ve removed reputation and the only use for premium ships now is some kind of snergy tranfer which costs more gold and i’ve no intention of spending any more.

 

normally i would let this go has just one of them things, but i BOUGHT the item with a fixed idea on how i was going to use it.  You’ve now changed the playing field and if i had to make the decision again i wouldn’t even consider it.

 

please refund my ship for the gold, or this is one customer who will never spend money on your product and i will never entertain your studio with my custom again. call this a test of your customer service and how much you really value your customers.

 

changes this big should of been refunded and i shouldn’t have to ask.

Let´s hope the devs know of the problem `we´ face with our premium ships, and change the synergy system so premium ships are once again worth it.

I feel ya brother. I’ll continue to post on any thread that continues to address this. Bought the Elite pack at the beginning of the Steam Summer Sale, progressed very far, lots of money and options, then this patch. Now I feel like I’m back at 0 and they want me to spend all those Gold Standards to get me leveled back up to where I ‘used’ to be. No thank you. I would like 1 of 3 things to happen:

 

  1. You refund everyone who bought a DLC pack containing premium ships and feels hurt by this patch, as they are now practically useless

 

  1. You change the system back to the old way with Reputation being responsible for leveling and not Synergy

 

  1. You change it so that premium ships maybe gain increased Synergy that can be transferred ‘for free’

 

That is after all why I purchased anything in this game. I did it to support you guys because I really like this game and would love to see it succeed. I also feel that the reason you offer the DLC packs is to give a little boost to those that pay money to support you. Don’t hose the people that pay for you to exist and operate. I can tell you if something isn’t changed, there is going to be a huge outcry on any forum I can get my hands on. I’ll be sure to start with Steam and Reddit.

I think premium ships should be able to transfer synergy for free as well.

At the very least 50% of synergy gained on Prem ships should be “free synergy”.  

Im with you all here. I have submitted a few options and we will see what comes of it.

good customer service must be rare in russia

I’ve asked on a russian forum about it like:  “Why not to refund (optionally) for premium ships after major patches?”.

They said “Премиум-корабли изменились настолько же, насколько и простые корабли” i.e. ~“Both premium and regular ships has been changed in a similar way”.

 

So, I consider this answer as “We won’t refund”.

And what about a refound in GS? I mean, exchange our old premium ship into GS at their buying cost?

They won’t loose $$$, and players will be able to invest it in something more interresting.

I can only agree that Premium ships need revisiting. I own most of them and find that they now hold back my progress rather than enhance it. This wasn’t the case prior to 0.9.0 so as such the value of said ships has decreased significantly.

 

That said, we can pretty much expect some tweaks to the synergy system in the near future, given how many people have voiced their concerns.

I have a handful of Premium ships, as well (including the original DLC ones). I find no reason whatsoever to fly them, now. I’m definitely not willing to pay an atrocious amount of money to transfer the Synergy off them, so I’ve been flying the lowbie ships for quite some time including, this past weekend, a Katana, just so I can unlock the Type-S. It’s sad to force people to fly these ships but I did have a ton of fun on it, despite its limitations vs most ships that came under my Gauss Cannons.

  1. Regular ship gets synergy faster than premium ship gets free synergy. Thus you progress with regular ships is faster, unless you pay more money for transfering synergy from premium ship to free synergy.

 

  1. To earn money just fly in a good sqad on PVE t4. 8 minutes and you have ~350k and also synergy on a ships you want to progress.

 

These two arguments are enough for me to make premium ships almost obsolete. Sad :frowning:

Takes longer than 8 minutes to get 350k synergy… You get that many credits from t4 pve, but synergy, you normally only get 12k per match if your lucky.

Just because you didn’t receive the exact reply you wanted doesn’t mean there is no customer service. Two GM’s posted in your topic.

 

Your concerns were forwarded, along with those of everyone else who made similar posts. Please be patient while the feedback is being evaluated - any decisions on whether or not to change anything in regards to premium / GS purchasable items need to be made with care and deliberation.

 

This is a political answer - I can’t and wont say if something will change, but I can say that your feedback matters, your concerns are noted and the topic is being discussed.

gm’s in this game are just normal players i stand by what i said that there is a lack of customer service.
