After buying and trying out 2 premium ships with my standards from buying a DLC, I discovered that they are utterly useless, dead end investments and that I completely wasted all of my standards on ships I will never use or care about and that will lead to nothing. Has anyone heard of a refund system where you can sell the ships back, or maybe get the money back from the DLC and have your account deleted?

what exactly do you mean by useless?

Useless as in the repair money they save you is negligible and despite getting 20% free syngery, they are a waste of time to play instead of leveling up free ships to unlock new tiers. The premium ships are high rank but don’t unlock their free level equivalent for you to level up from. If I wasn’t new to the game I would have known that I needed to buy licenses and artifact recoveries instead.

T2 (Rank 6). I don’t know that there’s any difference really, unless I plan to play at T2 indenfinantly.
The few premium ships(no including DLCs) that are actually good are: kalah,nukem1,polus,eagle-b… I guess ur right i can only list 4…

Seriously, premiums are good for when the playerbase is insufficient to allow advancement through normal synergy. I’d also throw Valor into the good premium mix.

Well, premiums are not only saving repair costs (there are no repairs if you don’t die
but they do generate more credits after the game as well (not a much the license does) -
They do give you free synergy that you can use on any ship all the way to T5, and since in USA times you can hardly find any t4+ games and you have all T3 maxed out what else do you do? On top of this, that synergy amount they produce is not just 20%, it is more than that becasue base synergy generated by prem ships is higher as well so it is 20% of higher base value. I consistently get 10-15k free synergy per win game in T3, but i have a license and some DLCs and I do kill alot of ships often.

There are some premiums that are very-very strong with certain builds

You use a prem ships for a certain role in your line up if you still did not unlock that role in a tier, like levelling Jericho ships(lol why would you do so) and having a prem Valor as an engineer when you need it.
They are less useful as they were long time ago, but they are still good and absolutely not useless.
T4 premium being good?

Regardless, is there any service that will fix my horrid mistake? Its messed it up to the point where I’m just not playing anymore because it threw me into a higher tier where I can either play my premium ships and achieve nothing or play rank 1 and 2 ships and achieve nothing.

if you do not want to play higher tier just unequip those ships for now, and fly w/e you have for lower tier, you can come back for prems later. Simply owning ships wont throw you into higher tiers, you have to equip them.
