I really, really Love the invasion mode. And I usually spend hours in it, farming, or traveling,…
I have some ideas to have a more satisfying experience (that I will post in several topic).
So!
What do you think of beeing able to completely refill (missiles modules health and fuel) and give our ressources to a station when we are near it, but without having to dock?
Of course we could then think about special stations witch some of these ability (Not all or it will be OP). A small beacon that refill your health without having to change of map, or another one that refill your modules/missiles.
But they should not be on a map that already have cargo drones, or it will transform the space even more stationary then it is when farming.
You can easily find fuel ingame. There are also hidden things that give health. Modules and missiles have cooldowns.
There is no need for this.
I like the current system.
In a way there are already gas stations in most maps, at the sort of cargo ship wrecks.
For the refilling modules, I think there was a reason that the devs made it so that cooldowns are not reset by going through warp gates…
I do kinda like the idea of active stations within a map, but I’m not sure what yet, I’ve not given much thought to it… Maybe trade stations, or stations where you can dock to change your ship build or buy upgrades (I seem to remember that this idea has been suggested earlier)
In fact, I was speaking about having a free refill when you are at the main station, witch mean where you put an end to your travel.
I don’t really like to have to dock, then undock just to have everything reseted when I’m near home but still want to fly.
Random station in the world has already been requested. But if they implement it, they should not be refill station, but something like trading system or a mercenary center to implement the bounty system present in the forum directly in game, or things that give you small quest witch don’t depend of the map.
