"Redeem Code" on main page

I’ve noticed a button on the side of SC’s homepage that says “Redeem Code” and wonder what codes it’s referring to. I have seen a grand total of zero “codes” to speak of.

Also there’s a cool Alien looking Cargo Ship on the homepage that I want to see in-game.

There were codes that would give you an invasion closed beta key + 6000 GS. That’s why the Redeem Code button is there.
