Suggestions? this is a poll.
I vote no. Tier-1 is meant to be an introduction for new players only, it has never been designed for pilots to stay in for prolonged periods of time or to fly when they are far too experienced to be there.
The gradual and incremental increase in complexity as you go up in tiers is one of the appealing features of the game.
(Leaving the discussion of how this levelling of tiers works aside for a moment - and looking at this in isolation.)

cause its creating a false impression on the newcomer: That the game is dull and made undetailed.
If I had joined this game and started yesterday. I would have quit after a couple and looked for something else to play.
Actually to be honest I’m already starting to do just that. If I ever want to try Jerico ships, I will have to start from the starter ship, even though I had rank 6 in the faction. This will not happen. I do not want to fly tier 1, and with the even less options that it once had, I really don’t want to fly tier 1.
If you’re going to make me go back to tier 1, at least make some sort of attempt to make it not crap.
EDIT: Tier 1 is an introduction to new players only. Cool. Explain to me why someone with 200 + wins has no choice but to go back down? This will hold true for ANYONE that focused on 1 faction to start.

gradual? i’ve heard it called anything BUT that :lol:
ie: T1 has no ship mods/passives, then T2 has 2 mods and 2 passives?.. lulz…
not to mention lack of damage types.
oh yea, the recent change to projetile speed, which gives higher tiers and even bigger advanateg. LULZ

I agree with this. The limited number of modules and weapons in Tier 1 is introductory enough into the game.

Limit entry to Tier 1 to those that not reached T3 Level 6 implants or higher in any 2 factions ? I would say all 3 but I would guess thier are alot of folks grinding back through Empire, Jerico and FED.
