Just curious, but why on earth are the rank 15 interceptors and fighters (except for the feds) look absolutely ugly? They’re so ugly to the point where I’m going to stop at rank 14 and not going to bother manufacturing a ship.
I’d personally say that the Caltrop and the Empire’s recon looks just fine.
The goal was to make them look “different”. Personally I think most of them look fine. Though the empire always gets short-ended when it comes to design.
I agree that a few of the others look better now that I’ve re looked at them. But it would be nice to have design as part of the manufacturing.
I think all of the Secret Project ships look good. The jaguar is beautiful; the Saw One is strange, but in a good way, like the peregrine; the Cyning and the Caltrop are fine. The only one I don’t like much is the Mjolnir.
I personally think past r9, all ships are ugly. (except for empire inty/fighter, fed+empire craftable ships, and destroyers).
Btw, did they updated the design of t1 empire ships ? They are awesome now. That dverg knight is sexy.
The Kraken is good ;p I also like the Dragon design although it is a little bulky. Personally I find the Styx shape not that great, and some of those Empires inties t3 and t4 are yuk. The Lion shape is also kind of boxy. Looks odd when moving quickly ;p

Sword looks nice and better than lance, jaguar is awesome, viking is decent (i prefer berserker version, awesome cockpit), aura model is waay better than argonaut which is even better than achilles…
