In any case, there are only 2 possible reasons for this weird problem, either someone got almost fired today for not spelling the destroyer parts or filling the news/patch info correctly a month ago or someone was evil enough to go on a improv-rampage in the last minute. Personal opinion, i think we made a mistake making those structures ahead of time assuming it will stay like that and devs made a mistake for forgetting to add that small info about the structures being unique and not just destros themselves.
Eitherway, i got a bit wiser today and will not make the same mistake again, only raw materials from now on, it will be raw soo much, Gordon Ramsay will yell at me anytime soon.

only thing i can say:
This should be a lesson for us indeed,just don’t craft the resources,login in,farm some games to do the dailies,insult every GM you meet and log off,and there you have it,hopefully we will recover the resources for Tyrant with the next event,building a R14 from almost zero with one event,who am I trying to fool…
by the way… if this is a race…is that means after the race end, player who have made Sirius will get some prize？

BTW, 50% DLC for Halloween is UP.
And it seems like we won’t have 40% electrum reduction before sirius comes out.

What if Cin was the one that came up with this, and/or some of the other awful ideas they’ve been implementing?
I don’t think it’s a problem that they need different structures.
The problem here isn’t that the structure doesn’t works for all r14, but that they don’t communicate their plans before.

Precisely. Otherwise I wouldn’t have just wasted all m,y resources on useless Sirius structures.

It just feels that more, and more of their decisions are based on monetary gains, and even more so, short term monetary gains, at the cost of long term ones. Unless I missed it, I thought the Nightingale wasn’t going anywhere, then along comes the news post telling us it is one of those get it now, before it’s gone for who knows how long type of things. Making each R14 destroyer use it’s own structure, when there was no warning that was coming, and is against how other destroyers work, feels like it was changed just to get people to spend more on cash shop packs, and maybe even purposely to screw over those building parts as they went along, when they were aiming at the Jericho, and/or Empire destroyers. The devs had to know people were doing that, but they made the change now, so late into the production period of Sirius anyhow, with apparently no way for people to adjust. The devs are coming off more, and more as an untrustworthy company, that is at odds with its players, something that will not help keep players in the game.
My God, I spent about 600$ to get the TYRANT. Made structures. 300-400$ down the drain. I Demand Re-Compensation for all the players you’ve hurt BEFORE the event for the Tyrant begins. Or let us trade one structure for the Tyrant type as soon as the event begins. And like-wise for the empire dessie parts as well to keep things fair. After these events are done - THEN and only then will be be allowed to leave the resources to be used for one dessie or another individually, but right now? It’s your problem. You’ve hurt your playerbase dearly. Fix it.
I will not ever be building the Sirius or the Empire dessie. And No, I will not be grinding the events. Why do you think I paid cash??

Well, a good thing that they showed PvE players the door so clearly right before the 50% sale. The bad thing is, i allready own all the major DLCs, and i have over 400 days of premium license left.
I guess the joke for supporting SC is on me.
Anyway, i would like to throw in another “philosophy” here too, “Satisfied customers tell 3 friends. Angry customers tell 3000.”
And i doubt that i’m the only one here, that is reading this thread and just can’t stop shaking their heads in disbelief about where this whole destroyer event is headed.
I better stop reading here for a while, otherwise i might ran out of Advil at some point.
