So, I’m sure everybody knows about the implant problem since crews came out - in battle, implants tend to switch around rather randomly. Here’s a bunch of pictures for evidence:
My normal implant setup, with a side of complaining in chat about the bug.
A distinct lack of slow invulnerability. Also a lack of energy drain immunity. Although the module did seem to cool down rather quickly.
Not displayed - Sudden lack of energy stability due to missing F7 implant, and random boosts of energy when being shot at.
Checking after the battle, just making sure my implants are what I think they are.
Another battle. Again, for some reason, I have J7 and E8, rather than their federation equivalents.
For the curious, yes, I survived.
For the next match, I decided to hover over the module to check if it really was E8 or not. So it was. I later checked in hangar, but it didn’t show any cooldown reduction there. An odd problem, this.
As it turned out, I did not, in fact, manage to survive in the Nodachi all match. I was killed due to tackler slows, which only makes me more frustrated about the bug. Here, you can see that the repair kit seems to be operating with E8 as well.
Just so you can be certain that I didn’t change the implants just before the match or something.
And lo, upon getting into invasion, it works like a charm.
Not pictured here are bunches of stat changes that I have noticed but not confirmed. I believe that in battle, the rank 2, 4, and 6 implants have changed, because firing unguided missiles is suddenly very different from what is normal for me, and spread seems to be larger than it was previously. I may try to verify these later, but the big problem is the fact that these implants change at all.
Essentially, my ships have a completely different implant setup in battle from what they have in hangar and in invasion, which makes everything quite unfamiliar and difficult to handle. I haven’t tried switching out any implants yet, but have unequipped and then re-equipped ships from the hangar. That doesn’t seem to work.
Here are the game logs from the first couple matches today. I’ll leave the chat log out, because I get the feeling talk about trouser muffins won’t really help pinpoint the problem.

And here are the game logs from the brief step over to invasion. They’re distinct due to the fact that I only got the idea to check after logging out earlier.
