[R]MM in Sector Conquest

This evening, myself and one of my Corp members were in Sector Conquest when we had what I would consider a very unbalanced match (screenshot attached) (game session 5904899). Myself and my corp mate in a squad with on other player (3 people total on our team) put against a 4 person squad from NASA (3v4). I know that the MM in Sec Con is different than the MM for general PvP. I also know that Sec Con is designed to be more difficult that general PvP. However, I cannot see how this match could be considered balanced. This is the first time that I have experienced this situation, and I do not know if it can be recreated (xKostyan said that it has been happening quite a bit for him, maybe he can shed some more light onto this).

Sector Conquest is end game, that I know. But i would at least think or assume that it takes the collective average SR of a team and pit it against an equal number of some sort. 

 

Like lets say that a NASA squad came in with 4 people. SRs 1404 + 1356 + 1234 + 1453 = 1362 team SR, thus the MM should find 3 or 4 people to match that number within a margin of +/- 100 points. 

 

Only logical right? The OP posted a pic that suggested the exact opposite.

And not even that. If there are not enough forces of the opposing side attacking a sector…that’s nobody’s fault.

people who are decent with lrfs can just farm skill points easy. Get like 3 kills without dying for the whole game and u get like 5-10pts
