[R]Launcher crash after new patch

The game will not start after the new patch. I click the exe and instantly the crash report comes up. I have tried through steam and and just through the exe.

 

It does this every time i try to start the game. here are my logs and dx diag. and the exceptions

I have tried through steam and and just through the exe.

 

Might be a Steam issue. I’m a Mac player who uses Steam (can’t play SC otherwise) and I’m not able to launch the game either. =(

ahh ok at least its not just me then i checked the steam forums but could not find anything thanks.

I have this same problem when i open the game. It immediately pops up with the targem crash reporter. The game was working yesterday for me, but today it will just not work.

Same problem here. The launcher patched then crashed immediately. The game will not start, i get a crash reporter every time. I"m not using the stram cleant atm, i’m using the launcher.

Try trouble shooting compatibility, i have the same problem and that’s what works for me atm…would be nice if a fix would be posted for this. 

i would like a more permanent fix though.

Please tell me there is a fix coming soon. I really enjoy this game but it sucks that i can’t play.

Try not to press any buttons when it launches, or launch the game directly through game.exe shortcut

Hey there, to confirm: You are all using Avast! antivirus, right? If yes then this is a rarely occuring problem with this particular AV - it conflicts with some of the game files, and causes game to crash. 

We are aware of the problem and trying to compile a fix as soon as possible.

Yes same problem here, im avast aswell…lets go avg free get this game working lol lol plz hurry with a fix guyz :slight_smile:

Yep can confirm, Uninstalled avast works like a dream, avg will do untill a fix is sorted   :crazy:

Well that’s some good news. I’m an avast user. Out of curiosity is there any time frame on the fix?
