Question for WolfKhanGeneral

What is the formula for true shield volume ?  I’ve herd it used a lot and I want to make a spread sheet  so I need  a  x*y=z type formula  … also what is it based on ?  player base weapons or  damage in general ?   I refer the frigates in Ariadne’s thread  … so for example my Tyrant has  101,640 shields   320 regeneration and  82 Kin res 22 EM res 52 therm res  … not counting mods and modules.  What is the true shield volume for that ship ?

thx  ( as of patch 1.0.1)  that helped a bit  … so I have 175,000 kin 125,000 EM 150,000 therm based on the 10,000 shields of that patch 1.0.1 … this also answers my question as to the damage from patch 1.4.10 … thx  I’ll play with resistances  to see what looks best on paper … I just hope the real world  is playing by the paper’s rules …ok just did resist tables for the "There are no benefits of going pure HP pool tank "

You probably should start taking healing/regeneration into account. Your second example is healed nearly twice as fast while having only 20% less “HP”.
