Just started playing the game and really enjoying it so far.
Just one thing I was wondering. I’ve seen other people on this forum and others talking about a “new player license” that used to be 7 days but is now 24 hours.
What I’m wondering is when does that new player license start ticking? Is it from when you first register the account or after your first login? Thing is I registered the account a couple of days ago but didn’t get the chance to actually log in and play until just an hour or so ago and I’ve currently got no license at all.
Have I lost that early license simply because I didn’t log in as soon as I registered the account? Is there in that case anyway to get that back? It would be nice to start out with a license to get that first boost =)
When you first register, you don’t even have to login for it to start, I know cause I registered and started playing few days later and had lost those days from my license.
So just because I didn’t start playing straight away I lost that first license day? Was no info about this anywhere. So if I register first, THEN download but have a slow connection I’d lose several hours? That sucks Is there no way to get that day back somehow?

Quoted for truth.
While I had no such issue this shouldn’t work like that (especially with much shorter starting license time). Licence should kick in from the moment you 1st logged in to the game (visited your hangar) - similarly to how daily reward works.
I honestly think that all this kind of licences should only work during your gaming time and should be paused when you are offline. It’s not that we can gain reputation or XP when we are offline either, no? It would be different with ability to train skills offline like it is in EVE…
Just remember this game is in Beta so your still getting to play an unfinished game for free. I’m sure they will fix the License issue at some point. When I first played I got the 7 day license but the game was so awesome that I just went ahead and got the 30 day license. So your not really losing anything.
Imho 24 hours is to few to get people properly hooked 7 days seemed like a more sensible timetable… And as we all would like more players, please make it 7 days again
