PvE failing to recognize rank [NB]

When attempting to join PvE missions, the game will not recognize my Rank 4 ship, and thus, will not allow me to play Rank 4 missions.

I have a Hercules Arrow, which is a Tier 2 (Rank 4-6) Ship, and I have installed the Rank 4 Implant, but the game refuses to allow me access to the Rank 4 PvE Mission.

It does this every time.

I will include links to a couple screenshots.

Yeah, that’d be a bug.  On a side note, with this mission, I must have a R4-R6 ship loaded but don’t have to play it.  But, the other day I tried playing it and my teammates had T4 and T5 ships loaded, none had a T2 loaded.

That’s not a bug. If you want to enter Rank 4-6 missions, ditch all your T1 ships. All of them. PvE lets you enter matches based on your lowest ranked ship.

Like I said, I must have a T2 ship to start the queue, but I noticed one match when other players only had T4 and T5 ships loaded.  It could have been a squad.  Using only T3 ships will not allow you into the battle.

It seems that’s true after doing some minor testing of this theory, but at the very least, they could post the notification so it isn’t so misleading. If you look at the screenshot, it says, “Failed to find mission. Pilot <username> has no ships of appropriate rank.” This implies that I don’t have a Rank 4 ship whatsoever, not that I reqire a loadout consisting of explicitly Rank 4-6 ships.

Even more ridiculous is the fact that Rank 4 missions will work for me if I simply remove my alternate ships from my loadout. So because I might have an awful backup ship that could save me the mission, I’m not allowed to do the misson, because I might finish the mission with an unglorious T1 ship.

not on the above subject but along the lines of questions. What is allowing ships to disappear for long periods of time from spectrum. Not just ones with the set-up either I do mean all ships no matter the size shape or color make or model. And they seem to do it on a moments notice, repeatedly and stay that way until you run up and either hit them with fire to illuminate them to hit with missile or they blow up.

~Question #2 How can one person in a squad show up with 2 ships being t-4 in a t-3 match. When all others there are t-3. This has not happened just on occasion it is a regular happening and so often able to quiet regularly pic the person after the games.

Any info on these would be a good start on an explanation as to why it happens but the same person or persons over and over may be a good clue!.

TY!!
