“fasse” has “a s s” in it ![:p](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/004.png “:p”)

Actually the profanity filter is much improved. It is possible to say Sniper again.

For some reason ppl can still call me “Nazi” …

They should call u Nimmersatt cuz u are never satisfied.

*Facepalm*

Functionality wise, this should not be applied in corporate chat anyway. I don’t get it.

whats wrong with spikes? do they hurt you that much that you had to put them in the profanity filter?

And how about the “suspicious”?

Edit: Found it. It is the s.p.i.c. Oh, well. Yeah. But still. It’s an innocent word… but suspicious.  ![](< base_url >/uploads/emoticons/wink.gif “”)

I wouldn’t be surprised, if “Profanity Filter” is the new Autumn update, that has been worked over 6 months.

Changes: None

Cept that Koromac got chat banned.

So I’m curious: when it says “reports are automatically generated”, does that mean this is done every single time the red message appears? If so you guys must be getting a hell of a lot of spam ![:D](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/006j.png “:D”)

To begin with the mandatory filter made a session in game like this. ![:005j:](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/005j.png “:005j:”)

But now not so much.

It has been improved but I still don’t understand the need for it. There are much more awful and offensive things that could be said without swearing.

It achieves little more than to shield from the occasional lazy foul mouth. And at the cost of disrupting communication for everyone.

It was better before when turning it off was a choice.

Profanity filter will be given another update in the next patch. I think there we will solve most of the issues with it.

That sounds suspiciously like last time… Hope the difficulty doesn’t spike

It became really ridiculous.

Can we talk of the Profanity Filter design ?

Like all other games it should be on the client side be able to enable / disable it. And just should replace with ******* when a word is triggered (NOT WITH A REGEX but the word) instead a creating a report and block the message. If someone do care about language then he let it enabled by default and if someone is not he can disable it. To be honest my corporation is 30+ year old players and don’t really care about rude language in corporation chat and actually is daily used. We aren’t kids you know so at the moment it’s just really pissing us off more than protecting any kido in the game. And again why in corp tchat ? It’s a non sense.

For triggering you. Read on top please.

CinnamonFake doesn’t wish to discuss this topic. There have been countless threads about it, and every time the answer is just “next patch it will be fine”.

The whole system needs to be redesigned, and for a start the devs must reconsider whether it is a good idea to have a filter forced upon the players, in what is supposed to be a social online game.

I was under impression he keeps saying “next patch it will be better”, which is not exactly the same ![:)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001j.png “:)”)
