Exactly. Money is NOT difficult to gather in large quantities.
The new prices are really nothing.

Yes, yes they are!
Unless you play together with “pro friends” money is NOT THAT FAST. maybe 400-500k/hour non-stop PvE’ing, if you win all of them in the first place.
The money changes has completly blocked my interest in going further up the tiers where I must spend more than a million more just because they are fitted with bullshit mk1 modules.(I almost never reimplant so that isn’t a problem for me, but I can understand why others who use it more often do have problems with it)

By your own admission you play premade PvE groups with your corporation iirc. Please show me some fraps of you easymoding PvE t3/4 in a pug.
Because by crikey it sounds like I need the tips
reimplantation is really an ‘end game’ feature.
Very few people will have need of reimplantation before that. even if so, you’re looking at having at least rank 5 or 6 before you switch to a new faction.
That being said, the rank 5 ships are ~952k. a little more expensive than reimplantation.
IE: if you’re below rank 5 and you’ve already switched implantation don’t matter.
After you’ve hit rank 5, ~900k isn’t that much. yes it takes a little bit to get that much. but seeing how rank 7 ships are like 3.2m 950k is nothing.
Would it be nice if the cost was tiered based on your max rank in any given faction? yes. yes it would be. that belongs in the suggestion forum. put it there. not here.
Would it be nice if we got enough credits in a given rank to buy everything and experiment? yes. yes it would be. that belongs in the suggestion forum. put it there. not here.
would it be nice if the learning curve wasn’t as steep so we could actually PUG PvE with a high chance of success? yes. yes it would be. AGAIN, that belongs in the suggestion forum. put it there. not here.

I do about 1/2 organized and 1/2 pug. With PUGs I have about a 75% success rate since I can pretty much solo the Sabotage mission and the Shipyard mission is easy.

actually you are wrong. the rank 5 ships are only about 300-500k or whatever it was. the MK`1 module crap makes it 952k…

the price before the patch is irrelevant.
How much do you have to pay, right now, to get a rank 5 ship?
952k.
can you buy a ship without the ‘Mk. I crap?’
No.
so how much is a rank 5 ship?
952k.
PVE should never have been in the game in the first place because this is the reason why the prices are out of control. You have people not Pvp’ing and earning their gear and money through that mode were as you can just PVE and make the money of 3 games of PvP.
PvE has hiked the prices and reduced the loot in the game due to the amount of money gained through this mode.

The point is that you don’t get to choose what modules to buy for your ships, so you might spend 952k as you say, but then you’ll have to spend 300k more just to fit the ship in a way that is in line whit your game play style, don’t get me wrong i believe it is a good feature, my complain is that is should have been made “optional”
Now getting a t3 starter ship costs almost double and will probably require you 1m credit more just to equip it, and things get even worse later on.
Coupled with a slightly higher money reward previously overall it was still more balanced to acquire ships throu progression, now getting new ships can actualy be quite the headache becouse it’s going to decide what you will be playing for the next 30-60 matches before you even have enought to get a new one.

so what? pve is fun, it’s good money while it takes longer to finish it than pvp-matches and it’s the only way to be sure to get at least a green item (while t3-pve gives t4-items, that sucks -.-). you can do t3-pve with a 2man-squad and 2 pugs. no problem at all (i think they made t3-pve easier)
and i’m sure without pve i wouldn’t even play Star Conflict anymore because in PvP are mostly useless dipshits who can’t play

And if you need more warehouse space to house the garbage from your new ships then you have to pay even more! Isn’t this grind great!?
Wow glad i almost maxed out my storage earlier not really knowing how far it would go !!
6 min is a good time.
when on PVE i tend to average 8 Min
so 8 min for 150k. so basicly, you could get a mill in one hour of grinding.
I liked the game, when money was not the issue in it. when grinding was not necessary, but you did some pve’s to calm down, or have some practice. also, pves get more exciting later, and you get at least an item or two out of it.
You progressed fast enough into T2.
Now, we have these ninja nerfs. Reimplanting and storage space, stupid emails which just give me additional clicks to make, and are not even really mails. Whatever took over at the dev team, it should be cast out.
On the other hand, it is clear, that well equipped team players can grind faster. And probably, that’s the problem. All these measures look like not enough experience in the dev team, how to handle an established ecosystem. All these nerfs and tries to get money out of too rich players show me, somebody spends too much time querying the database for how successful players really are, and base their “adjustments” on that.
And the complete silence, and those zealots who even defend the patches do the rest.
we still play, but the game is a lot less fun, a lot more “wtf”.

Suggestion forum is over there. Post there. This is a discussion. Devs will not likely see it.
It doesn’t need to be optional. you’re buying a ship off the shelf. you buy it “as is”.
I personally think when you buy a ship it should be a commission. There should be a wait time between when you click ‘buy’ and when it shows up in your hanger.
However a majority of the ships you buy are listed as ‘out dated,’ ‘legacy,’ or ‘relic’ so you are buying them off the shelf, and they are likely used. you’re getting whatever the previous owner had. this makes sense to me. it doesn’t make sense to have an option to buy it without the other parts.
I think the main issue, is that the parts it comes with are terrible. balancing between weapon types and modules would greatly lift this burden. IE: Railguns are terrible, almost everyone runs the same 3 or 4 active modules and passive modules. they rarely come with the ship. if the other ones, like the ones the ship comes with, were actually useful you wouldn’t mind as much. you could use these until you got what you really wanted. as opposed to feeling you just bought a steaming pile of crap.
We should be looking at the problem for what it really is. the core balancing between weapons and modules is terrible. which is why the ships coming with modules installed feels terrible.
So you can say: they main problem is we dont’ get to pick our modules. but the best counter question is: why does that matter? => because the modules it comes with are bad.
I also think you should make enough to buy all the ships within a rank before you rank up. take some of the grind out of credits, and put it on reputation. however this doesn’t really go well with the current business model.

I actually stopped playing entirely. Why should I keep playing this when other games provide a much friendlier experience for their customers?
why are games more fun when money comes second?
At the moment the money isn’t bad, Its in a good spot. The loot at the end of the match is what got nerfed and they are probably implementing something with the crafting system to deal with that. When you could make 50k off the loot at the end of the match in T3 that seems a little too much. But people will complain about what has changed and not see that they had the opportunity to make the money when it was available.

oh, yes, crafting system. as i read it, there will be many people playing pve then, huh? get the item and deconstruct it to get ressources for new items. very interesting imho, i’m looking forward to this system
want to build an assault hvy rapid fire hail plasma , which shoots like laser and does kinetic damage  *kidding*
To Topic: Prices are painfull for T4 ships , hope they fix it by being able to buy “naked” ships .
But until Monday i wont even think about buying new ships xD
i didn’t played the game for days now, also my friends. i started to play the other gaijin game, war thunder, were surprize, the same thing happend. the last patch finished the game. either u read this forum, or war thunder forum you will find the same complaints about tier and economy… and everyting goes to worse, not better.
