Possible bugs Iridium Daily and Engineer drones.

A friend of mine in the corporation has noticed this happen to him in the last 5-6 days, and i noticed it today.

The Iririum daily that requires you to reach 5000 efficiency with your highest shiprank to get 50 Iridium… once complete,

it will not transfer iridium to your account.  I just completed it before my break and no iridium was gained.

There is also the matter of possibly bugged Engineer-drones.   Once the player activates a drone, it should boost any team-member

within range by a set amount of shield. But i’ve noticed on a daily basis that this does not happen.

I can be well in range of several of my team that has basically 0 shields, i press F to boost their shields… nothing happens.

The tooltop of the ability says.

Quote

. In addition, drones can be activated to overload and restore a burst of shield to all allied ships in a small radius, including your own, in a radius of 500m. After activation, the drone is destroyed and will be replaced through reconstruction.

Directly quoted from the wikipage…   “ALL SHIPS”.

However this is not working all the time.  I’m running Armada drone on my Octo, of which each drone activated should replenish about 6k shields

which is more then enough to top of most frigates even, if i pop all 3 drones.

Sigh, here we go again, the iridium is counted only for your corporation, as for the drones, have you made sure you were close enough to the allies?

I tryed to tell him about Corporate Iridium in corp. chat, but he was already gone.

And for the engineer drones. Sometimes you just heal yourself.

Shouldn’t be “sometimes” when the tooltip and info says All ships,  and yes,  i do check my ranges when popping the drone-heal.

ffs man, first you reported a bug that’s been spammed everywhere, and then you continued your tirade about engineers, were you using your drones on a Tyrant by any chance?

Iridium goes to corp account. It’s in the mission description.

Also - yeah - the range of those drones is 450m, not 500m. Corrected on wiki already, thx for pointing that out.

Strange.  Info ingame says 2km range on the heal.

There is only weapon range of the drones in game, nothing about the heal range.

Yup. That’s why that info is on the Wiki. Even OP quoted that in his post.

I know, I just wanted to clarify that the in game 2km is the weapon range, since OP was quoting the 2km as healing radius

I really don’t like their approach of hiding half the interesting values in game and only having in an wiki that naturally has outdated info from time to time.

This especially true in the in-game infos in regard to the diverse drones … no consistent standard from for info and then filled out individually for each drone its like making up new froms of info for each new drone… doesn’t make sense… even the brushup after nerfs/buffs in patches is harder in this case!
