indd they can go all directions with it … Its just a small suggestion that i had …
would the biomorph ships be allowed modules? if not, then the human team would win eventually because biomorphs, predators and hunters don’t seem to have regenerative abilities of any useful size. In effect, an Axe would, with enough duplicators, kill a biomorph. The biomorph ships should be given the modules of the ships in your slots to choose from in exchange for a weapon damage nerf to compensate for the regen abilities
i hope the Bio’s will be OP so that it takes real skills and groupwork from “THE WHOLE TEAM” and not 3 to the left, 5 to the right, and the rest is sniping at the spawn … i hope thats not the case !!!
This is neat! Now is it like, team battle or does the squad of players have to survive until time runs out? 'Cause if it’s a timed survival with no respawns for the players but infinite respawns for the biomorphs this could be a really interesting game mode…
Biomorph team gets no respawn. Human team gets one respawn for each player.
If humans destroy all the biomorphs then they get a larger reward than the biomorphs. The quicker they destroy the larger the reward. The reward is a mix of credits, synergy, free synergy and guarenteed artifacts. You get the chance to loot.
If biomorphs destroy all the humans then they get a larger reward than the humans. The quicker they destroy the larger the reward. The reward is free synergy and credits. You get the chance to loot.
If neither team is completely destroyed then the team who has the most kills wins. Each biomorph death is worth two human deaths. For example, the human team scores 2 biomorph deaths but the biomorph team score 4 human deaths. The game ends in a draw.
Perhaps the game mode could be called “Border Defense”.
Could be fun, could be not… Depend how well the mode is set. For sure it might be difficult to balance for either sides; Biomorphs have great weapons but they a small variety of them, and most do EM, Mercs have a large variety of weapons, modules and ships. Even if they are made tougher and more powerful, the Aliens will still fight outnumbered and take damage continuously from the Mercs and be affected by multiple debuff effects. If it’s fought like a Team Deathmatch, the aliens will most likely get defeated most of the time in my opinion because they will be perma-debuffed and outgunned. Unless the aliens get some cool modules to fight outnumbered and resist the multiple debuff and burst of damage they will receive, i don’t think they will win much.
