I was in chat with another player yesterday who just started SC, he said that it seems like the game doesn’t have many players.
Now that i’m at rank 10 ships, I’ve noticed similar stuff aswell. It seems like there aren’t really that many people in star conflict as the game is designed for.
Is this true?
It is true in US timezone. In EU/RU games are always full and almost insta-queue
It comes down to the time of the day and the “area” of the game that you play like Skirmish PvP, or PvE/Openspace

before they took out the player counter it varied between 200 and 1400 or so with primetime being around noon est.
Used to take 5+ minutes in the middle of the day to start a PvP.
Now it takes 2 minutes at midnight.
No idea on numbers, but with server region any and at night time here it’s almost instant battles for pvp. Pve takes longer sometimes

Probably true. They prefer playing more fancy “fashionable” games I guess.
mechanics are too complex for them
I like how this thread derailed, let me jump on it.
Since Trump-ArcTic left SC, muricans lost their true community leader (no Mecron wasn’t the true leader, he was more a Chelsea or a Hillary)

ArcTic lived in the shadow of Uhmari, and could have never reached the highest and spiritual excellence of such great leader!

I didn’t realize I was involved in Benghazi.
