Please Rollback from 0.9.0

We know that the update is pretty big and we will collect all feedback and adjust the issues as soon as possible.

You propably have no idea how good the game was before the 0.8.0 patch aswell (Or more specificly, in the patch 0.7.3).

It seems they manage to xxxx the game up more and more with every major patch.

This would be true if the game didn’t mix tiers.

The Mortar does take some getting used to. It’s a really weird weapon that really isn’t well suited to long-range combat. That said, I think it could stand a slight range boost.

Where it excels, however, is it’s stopping power. You get smacked in the face with one of those mortar bombs you will know about it!

Actually… if we could get some volunteers, I’d like to test a theory - I think the mortar might have splash damage.

It does.

I damaged a guard hiding behind a beacon with only shooting at the beacon, where it was closet to him.

I’m still not sure about Beam or Coil, I tried Coil I liked it, but given many situations, when you encounter a good pilot, you still can’t hit him, so I’m going with beam for now, still got pissed by the damage, but at least I can stay far enough to avoid danger.

*raises hand* I volunteer. Sometimes I have to be on the receiving end of a weapon to understand it fully. Being hit by a pre-patch hail plasma and a RFR made me understand the beauty of those weapons.

I think the patch notes mentioned that there’s an explosion when a coil mortar fires, even if it misses.

Remove all aoe and penetrating weapons, endless missiles that removes the skill factor from the game.

Nerf healing  that leaves more room for errors thus removing the skill factor.

Yeah basically bring back 0.8

Remove all aoe and penetrating weapons, limitless missiles that removes the skill factor from the game.

limitless missiles

no. big updates take even more time to sink in and properly mature. dont adjust too soon.

to put it quite frankly: i bought a game… i didn’t buy ‘half a game’ where i’m forced into higher tiers because you’ve made my T1 premiums USELESS… utterly and completely. how do you expect T1 to fight against T2 with just rails?

Question; why the hell did you buy premium content for a beta of a F2P title if you weren’t sure if you were happy with it yet?

because steam doesn’t say it is a beta. in fact steam incorrectly lists the release date as february 2013.

nope, i’m done. i’m sorry. if there are no damage options in T1, end of the road… not only me but all new players as well…

i thought this was a different publisher than wargaming (WoT), but it seems that they are under their guidance or something. maybe a subsidiary firm, not sure. in any case, same old bait and switch P2W megatransaction model… i call it quits… certain realizations are coming to pass that they will only listen to the publisher and the guidance they are being given by wargaming.

Is a rollback on the table?

Nope, you just update back to 0.85 accidentally, and you will have to update back again, luckily I  always have my back up folder.

I find the game way better on a bigger scale now, then it was back then.

Don’t want to knock your opinion, but you’ve not even reached T2. Nobody’s going to take your objections seriously…

i actually have… i have an elite pack duh… and i’ve play tested, coded and modded more games than you can count on an abacus

one single game in a sea of software titles i something i could scoff at.

Codding and modding isn’t as hard as people tend to showoff. And for example modding a HalfLife has nothing to do with understanding a star conflict balance.

So… you’ve skipped ahead into T2 and T3, with no understanding of their mechanics, maps or meta, and you wonder why you’re doing badly?

codding? no… coding… c++, c# and vb.net… also rummaging through game file data dumps, databases, tables and sql files…

anyways, not about to turn this into a conversation about my extensive experience in the field… just saying… just because you’ve only played a game for a week doesn’t mean you don’t know more than half the people who have played it for a year or more. not that this game has even been out that long. also, experience comes with age… and i’ve been around since before the days of… well, color TV sets and the internet…

yo - just to keep the thread meaningful

I just xxxx KILLED A T3 Guard in under 6 seconds using a T2 Ship MUAHAHAHA WTF ?

not sure if that is a good or bad thing … but I felt my e-peen upgraded a couple of inches… Anyways, why mines when you have balloons :PP
