As title suggests, T’Har’OK beamer sphere damage is way too high and frigate/destroyer class doesn’t stand a chance. 8k dps is somewhat ok, 20k dps is way too high. Also fire rate is extremely high and need to be nerfed, gun overheated in less than 2s while equipped with supercool ammo with 25s overheat time.

I eluded to that in my last video. . . 6K damage per hit with 2.5 sphere’s per second in rank 6 game is insane. Frigates and dressy are most susceptible. It’s only a matter of time before there are many many more threads about this.
in other way i can’t unstertand , Dev. keep making each main new wepon with this huge outcome dps .
10k at 20k dps its more like all we can fire with heavy missile mounted usualy on Frigs.
and more 2k dps with less 0.2 deg for spread its just insane xD

I told that sht was reking frigs on PTS, I got flooded with vulture fanboys saying all I had to do was to move. The problem with this game is the half of the community too stupid to get good conclusions about content and not a dumb opnion after 30 mins of gameplay. Also fkn devs need to stop accepting any input they get, I have 1000 hours in this game and I still can’t get stuff right sometimes.

With Tai’Kin speed, you dont even need those, just hurl big ball in the face…90m/s is enough.

when i saw the last streaming about this new ship , just be crazy to see after all complain with the “OP” Tha’gar , they keep doing more with new OP ship .
the problem isn’t only to have a BIG dps bill ball weapon , its ll about again , a new that can stack more and more bonus ( fufu , self repair , jump…)
This game is like a dumb girlfriend, you really like it but there’s no break man ffs.
Still there is hope, SC is fked up, Crossroads improved a lot and is working kinda good, if they keep that streak their 3rd game will be really nice.

Guess I need to really consider an energy converter so that the next gnat who tries to use one of those on me gets blown up 5 times in a row from all the overkill

You. That was you using that goddamn weapon earlier today!
That thing was a pain in the xxxx to deal with, literally evaporating my _FULL EM RESIST _frigate in… less than 2 seconds.
The only option I had was to keep facetorping like a xxxx, and use 2 sidethruster modules to keep away from the spheres, but that didn’t stop the Tai’Kin from just killing every other frigate that showed up at spawn like it had the effective hitpoints of an overinflated balloon.
Part of the problem is that it is an interceptor weapon. It would be more or less fine on frigates or destroyers. It might even be acceptable on fighters, given they generally have to choose between agility and speed. Interceptors have little to no trouble getting close enough to eliminate any chance of avoiding the homing balls despite their lack of speed. I don’t have Tai’Kin yet, so can’t experiment with T’Har’Ok, but I’m guessing you could probably get the homing spheres up to sufficient speed that most, if not all, Jericho and Empire frigates would have a very hard time running away even if they had enough warning to try. (Rank 6 EM/Kinetic speed implant + speed increase munition)
