That can’t be possible. You can’t have nukes on a Recon.
I switch between a few playstyles depending on what is needed.
- DPS Tank : Frigate with high survivability and high DPS with moderate range. As an example, I love flying my Anaconda-M with Heavy Rails. She can take and give out a pounding.
- VIP Interdiction : Only target players completing objectives or preventing team from completing objective. This is best seen in Detonation. For this role, I use Tacklers. I can shut down bomb carriers, debuff-and-destroy key defensive positions, or target an enemy captain. Would also work with ECM.
- Defender : Can take the form of camping a beacon or healing a captain. Minefields, pulsars, and debuffs. At minimum, slowing the enemy down so allies can reinforce the objective if there is trouble.
- HVT (High Value Target) Interception: Find the strongest player on the enemy team and eliminate them. Tacklers or Interceptors work best for this due to their higher maneuverability and speed. Targets can include Engineer frigates that are keeping their teammates alive or an Interceptor pilot who is stacking kills like flapjacks.
You can use nukes on a frigate, and equip the warp gate too.
And the thing i mean with my fastest ship i mean my fastest frigate it has like… 198m/s.
Last time i did my playstyle i only killed 3 ships.
Sadly now i can’t play during a month because i’m on holiday.
I’m pretty sure you can’t have nukes on a frigate. They are cov ops exclusive.

If you can use nukes (tactical warhead) on anything else than a covert ops ships, it should be reported as a bug.

I like takingout their cloaks or shields… *hides with his dwarf 2, that has parasitic thingy and sy drones*
Here is another playstyle, use a Recon warp to an enemy ship who has low HP and my allies are attacking him.
When the enemy has like 10% HP left I use all my weapons and my missiles, BANG! I stole a kill. :lol:

I find myself building ships for special tasks, especially in terms of which ship-class I want to hunt. You fight frigates in a way you wouldnt fight inties (so this is some kind of playstyle).

Yes. This helps people so damned much, you have no idea. More often than not, I find myself in matches with scrubs who, in Recon matches, die over and over again, to the point where we’re behind some 10-20 kills. By the end of the match, if the enemy captain isn’t dead, we end up winning. It really helps a lot to tell the team to pull their xxxx together.

Why not? I think the idea of Tacklers being good vs all Interceptors is flawed - Covert ops is probably the most vulnerable to Tacklers, but I think that Gunships probably suffer vs Tacklers; providing the Tackler isn’t on the receiving end of an Overcharge.

Tacklers should be very effective vs all interceptors, but then have their asses kicked by pretty much everything else.
Besides, I could always just pop one of my debuffs on you to scare you into cloaking, immediately cloak before you can ping me and then unleash all hell.

Fighters should be excellent vs ALL Ceptors, Frigates should be good vs ALL Fighters, Ceptors should be good vs ALL Frigates. You and I both know that’s rarely the case.
