I was a fan of BP now am an SC fan and shame to see how black prophecy went in beta to release of game too much changed and they killed the game. I sure hoep that Star conflit do not go down the same road. So far of everything within Star is amazing and mind blowing cant wait for the full release of this beast.

BP had too many Issues to continue playing it beyond a month into its launch Gamigo really murder that game. IMO it was too much for them to handle.
I played Black Prohecy during the open beta but it didn’t appeal to me much.

I played it but my client still refuses to load the game, when I exceed all of the game requirements, and yet it crashes, and support refuses to help me why? And they tell me to take screenshots of it, but they won’t allow X-Fire to take them, and they say use this program, but its got a virus in it.
I played on Kemmura, and sometimes still playing it, but it’s just boring 
Yeah after the initial release it got boring extremely quickly for me 
I played Black Prophecy in CB and OB as well as after launch. I enjoyed it thoroughly, until they started changing some of the combat/ powerup mechanics; namely that a lvl 40 ship went from having well over 100,000 HP to less than ~4,000 HP. I made quite a few friends (and several enemies as well) and really enjoyed the game while I played it. So while I’m somewhat sad to see it go, I’m glad that I found out about the game when I did (which was about 1 year or so before the closed beta began).
So after the last news the game is officially dead. Servers will shut down at the end of september. Premium shop is closed and you cant spend cash for ingame prem. You also cant create new characters anymore.
Sadly the old forum with all the entrys for balancing, reworking and feedback for bugfixing… was deleted after the hack attack. Also the statements of Gamigo about the future of the game… (we will continue the development and will patch the game…)
They always lied to us, always decieved the truth. Pushing Reakktor far over its limmits with contracts they cant fullfill. Forcing them to release patches and addons that arent even half backed…
My clan pulled the flag after the relese of the last pseudo addon and i really must admit it was a good move. We all were forced to buy prem and reset our ships and completly recraft them for what? Only for the next Update to come… Forcing players to invest mony to be ablte to play is against the entire system of F2P. We invested countless days of farming and crafting and evey thing was in vein. Months of playing destroyed. Everything we had was krushed.
Looks like the Black Prophecy has finally fullfilled itslef.

Was a early beta tester and sort of pay BP now and again but they way things have gone on in the game has killed the game. So i only go on if new updates have arrived to see if any drastic changes and nothing changes or improves. The sooner i get into Star Conflict and beta is here and i am in on beta if i get accepted the better.
BattleClinic has contacted the developers of Black Prophecy and we’re working on how to support the game for us players. We do fully intend to develop a ship loadout tool for the game. If you don’t know that that is, head over to the EVE loadouts section and take a peek.
