BSGO was one of the worst games i ever played i give it credits for looking really gd for a browser game guess tahts unity’s work but dam gamplay is so dull and boring to me :fed004:
I’d played it since december 2010 and now I’m thinking: ‘How I could play it so long?’
seems you have played it when i started mine never erally lasted long mabye 2 months and then i got board then came back to it after a year and its still as crap as ever
I still play BSG on a rare occasion, they aren’t doing anything much with it now. I will play it off and on just because I like mining, but I’m dropping out of the beta here, I’ve seen enough. Its new that’s all this has going for it. Its like reading the same page of the newspaper over and over…there’s no reason to stay… even in the beta I got three ships in 2 days…and that fourth slot isn’t worth the wait to me. I’ll wait for an open world game some where, so I don’t get the feeling I’m sitting in the waiting room of my doctors office waiting on my appointment…lol.
i played it but like all other BP games it doesnt have replayability … do same thing over and over and over again like go mine resources … fly, see an asteroid, scan it, if it has res mine it, repeat till death
I love the concept, the controls and ship types but it had to many problems.
I posted this on another site:
The Grind really is the worst part of the game. The PvE Content is terribly unfun and you need to do a ton of it if you want to advance or you can just $buy$ things in expensive chunks. I can not stand buying content in chunks unless you can keep a good pace earning it as well. When I asked about the poor PvE content the Dev’s said that was because it is a PvP Game so good PvE is a low priority. I guess that is why they make you d so much of it to get anywhere… If there was a way to pay $5-10 a month for double loot and maybe a little more PvE development to make the grind quicker and better I might still play.
Their are no assists in PvP. you can do 30-40% the Damage on an enemy and someone else gets full credit for having more DPS. Your Damage helps get that kill for him and you get the shaft if you die to twenty enemies and help kill a group of them but don’t have the most Cubits in your gear to get most DPS on a kill. I found myself mostly solo despite wanting to be in big fleet fights because they are a complete drain on my record despite the help I gave. Some recognition that you helped in fleet fights would be great.
They also let the enemy conquer Outposts right up to 1 Jump of your Home System. Sometimes that game just wasn’t playable in peek hours do to camping. A non conquerable 3-4 system buffer zone around the HQ where the Jump in can’t be camped do to an Armed Indestructible Outpost with a lot of firepower being there would have gone a long way to allow an outnumbered side to fight back.
The single Arena per server is so low populated. They should really merge the Arena Server because waiting 10min each to fight the same level 70 Merit Strike 3 times and the same Level 9 Basic Strike in your Level 30 Advance Strike isn’t much fun.
All in all the problems with this game just plain outweighed the fun. To bad this field of space MMO’s is under populated.
I also played BSGO, I started in the closed beta, and had some fun with it, but by the time it was released I got bored. I mean the game is actually very very very very very boring. You can shoot some cylons or asteroids basically. If you buy some cubits with real money maybe then you can actually have some fun. So I love BSG, but I just hate the game.
I play BSGO. It is fun as long as you just kill cylons all day. The Dev’s allow people to cheapen the fun of the game. The good part of the game is that your level means nothing after 40. So if you want get to the point fast and you can earn real money easily. Then you can spend some every month on happy hour and compete against people who do nothing but play the game all day and night. Real life does call and that should not stop someone from staying competitive at a game they want to have fun in.
I’d played it since december 2010 and now I’m thinking: ‘How I could play it so long?’ :Dwop Game of Thrones Seven Kingdoms is a new mmorpg from bigpoint and The Seven Kingdoms of Westeros areinhabited and ruled by several families or “houses”, a list of the houses is displayed below as well as a family tree, of which displays each individual house.
In Battlestar Galactica Online, it is for you to decide which side to stand for: Humanity or Cylon. You can not only experience the action-packed strategic battle with numerous offensive and defensive systems for resources and territory between Human and Cylon players,
I have played BSG online for about 1-2 months i think. I didnt go much further in the game becuase i was missing elements for a shooter…
one didnt need to aim ones self. it was just locking and everything is done for ya.
map terrains where more 2d then 3d in bsg online.
The thing i like a lot about Star Conflict is the space battles can be rather big. When i just started to play this game a lot of stuff seemed very confusing.
One thing still is for me, and can be called a bug (if you rotate you ship the other side up, the map stays the same in other words the map is mirrored. making it very hard to be situation aware)
Having played World of tanks a lot and i mean a lot like some wierd monkey on steroids. I got one question is this a greedy game like WoT. When you come down to it or?
(ow and on a side note in WoT and a “good” clan there a lot of people from 20-50+ years old xD, even so the player base seems to be 5 as for there skillz -.-)
I played until now, the recent update made me search again for a better game with space battles and I found Star Conflict. I am now downloading and hope my laptop can meet it’s requirements.
BSGO was awesome, but as I was mainly flying Strikes and had a bug issue with my controls locking up regularly I stopped playing. Haven’t logged in for a year I guess. Beautifully done game though and even large scale fights usually ran smoothly. A bit heavy on the pay2win side maybe. Also a bit like EVE in that some guys were always complaining that it was boring because they spent their time mining or doing PVE while I was flying around blowing other player’s ships up - to each their own I guess.
Suppose the upcoming corp dreadnought mode in SC will be a bit like the battlestar/mothership in BSGO?
