Player Versus Environs (PvE) is RUINING This Game!

There is no reason why PvE is part of this game.  I know it’s a bit ridiculous to say, but it truly serves no purpose other than allowing players to farm their ships and gain VERY little experience while doing so.  Sure, you may get more familiar with the ships that you’re playing, but in a PvP battle, things are tremendously different.  I know that there are tons of players who don’t play PvP because they think that there is no point to it…and they’re kind of right.  However, in my opinion, there is even less of a point to PvE, and so I think it should be dropped from the game entirely.  This game, in my opinion, should be strictly PvP—at least until the PvE issues are worked out.

What about revamping the server browser, PvP system, and the Match Maker?  Does anyone agree with this massive change?  I think it would make the game MUCH more enjoyable.  Of course, ships are so expensive that they might have to be cheapened to make PvP advancement more feasible.

PVE is a good way to farm credits, equipment and even a decent amount of synergy. Sometimes players want to relax a bit, but still continue playing the game so they do PVE. In the early beginnings the game was pvp only, but there was a big demand for PVE and there are still a lot of people who like to play pve and want even more pve content.

That’s why there is a queue for pve and one for pvp.

Imho PvE isn’t ruining much, it’s boring as hell, but gives nice rewards, and the bad players rushing tiers will learn fast that having the better ship will not make them insta win.

Dunno, I think the PvE has a decent Freelancer vibe, it’s fun to do from time to time.

My issue with PvE is that it often feels almost necessary; I think that T3 and up needs a bigger cash boost to PvP rewards so that PvE remains more of an optional extra for people that want it, not a mandatory “only way to earn the cash you need” side-quest.

Star Conflict OBT v.0.9.10

Economics

Improved ship profitability (in credits):

By 25% for ranks 4-6

By 30% for ranks 7-9

By 35% for ranks 10-15

Increased synergy gain rates:

By 20% for ranks 8-10

By 30% for ranks 11-12

By 40% for ranks 13-15

PvE still seems to produce a lot more purples though. I got three in my last PvE match!

I like PVE when I don’t feel like being so competitive its much more relaxed because AI doesn’t rage at me

Just remember two things;

  1. its a game

  2. relax

You seem to get more module loot on your fist PvE game of the day.  The ones after that are more similar to PvP.

500-600k every 6-10 minutes serves it’s purpose dude.

I think PVE is a nice feature…

It’s also attracting some players who don’t want a full PVP game, and seems to “improve” the quality of life of some people.

It’s also fun to grab friends to squad and engage for some PVP missions.

Finally, I think it could also help developing new game mechanics, for example, the dreadnough battles which are announced…

PVE is all co-op fun.

I don´t find it so bad that it gives the PvE choose cause most time you find relative fast an team.

The other thing i find nice on the PvE is that you depending on your ship and skills can solve the mission in the totaly emergency alone if you had the luck of an team which gets killed in the first minutes of the battle. I have turned the one or another battle to the next round when the team was not that good.

So the difference and the good point on PvE is that you can still win the battle when at least 1 experienced player is in the team and know how the items of the ships work (i just say why activating items over time over and over again when you only need to activate them once to run?)

PVE is a choice bro. Lol.
