"pinging" enemies ingame

Hey

i was wondering if someone could tell me how to “ping” enemy ships, the “all eyes on X” stuff that some people use and make a nice blinking circle arround an enemy, wich is quite nice to get randoms to focus an important target.

Thanks and have a nice day

Quick double-click on the Target-lock button

ah okay thx  will try that this evening when i m playing

how do you ping something when you’re in map view waiting to spawn? i saw someone do that a while back and haven’t figured out how.

I also like to know how to ping something on the map.

You bind ping to your keyboard.

Also, necro

There is no ping in the key bindings that I’m aware of or it has a name that I missed.

Right now I ping ingame (when I’m flying) by pressing R twice. But when on the map like when spawning I don’t know how to ping/mark anything.

By default, the “All eyes on…” is assigned to the number 3 in the numeric pad.

Attempting to lock onto a target while lagging makes me ping accidentally. I would prefer a key dedicated to pinging, but that’s just me.

I don’t have a numpad >< But hurray for people who do.

Thanks. That works.

Also double R or double middle mouse.

This is what I normally use for pinging.  I found out about it after a filing a bug report.  I also set c to clear a target lock in case I don’t want them looking for me.  Since I use attack drones on engineers, clearing target locks is important.
