Im wondering why someone else hasnt mention it before but im missing a pick preview in the game lobby. Sometimes it happens that my team or enemy team come with 3-4 frigs and camp at a point instead of picking a good mix of ships to scout and capture.
This way we have a blind pick for both sides. Nevertheless, for competetiv teamplay, we need to know what to pick and adapt to the current situation. Thats why i miss such a gimmick.
There should be some highlighting for the own team what they pick at the start and at each wave. Maybe highlight the Ship Icon for the best view like the little example in the attachments.

exactly, same as in LOL (league of legends)
you know what your team look like, but you dont know enything about enemy… its good to have few sec to see what your mates chose, but let it be suprise about enemy
