I’m sad, because I can see that someone left again. Ketriaava. I watched Ketriaavas’s post, because I saw that he alvays analízed and made recommendations for updates. And I was surprised, because I see that he was tester. So he spent time to make the game better. And now he disappointed and say goodbye. How many anonymous player go each day without saying googbye? We don’t know.
I’m the CEO of a small Hungarian corporation. I see that we can’t play PvP together, because the matchmaker does not let us into battle as a group. You say, let’s go for the SC League. It is impossible, because we don’t have enough high rank players. You saw, let’s go into dreadnought battle. It is impossible, because of we don’t have enough high rank players. So our members begin the tedious PvE game. And one day they leave us without a word.
I see a lot of guys give you a lot of suggestions. But I do not see how this is realized something. I see that you’re doing something consistently. But I don’t know what. The consistency of valuable property. Maybe it once it is born a good game. But who will play wit it?
I’m a programmer. I know that a program is alive as long as in use. Do you know?
He left, because of this: (it was the final factor)
I was wondering what happened to him… I guess if we’re lucky we’ll see him again when destroyers see release.
Could you please explain this, 7-9 ranks are high now?
Rank 7 is essentially the make or break rank as players begin to encounter larger amounts of veteran players. Those who are able to withstand Tier 3 are those who generally continue to play the game. Those who don’t… well, they leave.
If you really need to know how I came across this observation it’s thanks to my old corp where newer players who had just entered tier 2 join us generally reach rank 7 or 8 then leave without a word of warning.
That was a US server and the issue was specifically Packet loss. Due to the fact that it was all users I really am suggesting it was on :
SoftLayer Technologies Inc. Handle SOFTL Street 4849 Alpha Rd. City Dallas State/Province TX Net Range 198.11.192.0 - 198.11.255.255
The hosting company for SC servers.
I think it was on EU server. I had 45 ping and 0% packet loss, but the same performance as the others. I think that F11 will not show you correct information, even when it should.
More videos will follow! We got plenty more. At least 2, if not 3, so the fun isn’t over yet!

Ok sorry, but you are getting packet loss look at your top right Loss = 13% - 18%
It looks like my games on eu server every night for a few days now. Massive 15%+ loss that goes up to 30%. Ping is pretty violent with its 70-200 range.
In the mornings everything is nice and smooth… on eu at least.
The guy recording is not Koromak, if i’m not wrong is John from Owl (not me )
No, you’re wrong. I didn’t record the game. Someone else did.
;)
@Spongejohn
Yes, I think it was him.
xevilxGodlike also recorded them and more than just one!
Yes was me.

I know that i had packet loss but it was not my fault(back in the good old days i was used to have a ping under 20ms and 0%packet loss), everyone had some kind of connection Issues and Stuff but today everything is working normal again.
Yesterday he violated NDA (in an extremely insolent way), I don’t think that is a very good characteristic for a tester.
You saw, let’s go into dreadnought battle. It is impossible, because of we don’t have enough high rank players.

Hi!
I do not know what was Ketriaava doing. But I do not want to see more of these goodbye message! He was an experienced player and more experienced players said goodbye.
I do not want to argue, I know that the dreadnought battles available for 7-9 rank players. But what do you think, what can do a 7-8 rank player against a 9 rank player, who have 10-13 rank modules? (new module rank system!)
Recently we kicked off more than half of our members, because of they do not play since 30-60 days. And left a lot of beginners. I mean, that goal seems unreachable for new players that they have 3 pcs. 9 rank ships, which successfully take part in a dreadnought battle. They lose interest. I think that is also true for the other corporations. I think the problem is the “interesting” game rank starts at rank 2/3.
There are two ideas:
Do a “baby” League for 6-8 rank players.
Dreadnought battle should be a secondary task that can only be solved by players 6-8 rank.
Old TIII Dread: “T3” equipment was best and some r8 ships a viable solution
New TIII Dread: “T4 Mk5” equipment(way higher costs than T3) is usable and R8 ships are useless coz of lack of modules (adaptive shields, galvanized armor, and some active modules)
->Old systeme gave new players the opportunity to be useful in dread kinda fast, yet they have to grind way longer to have the best equipment for dread
It should realistically be 8, 9 and 10 now. Once the Cerberus is out of play, dreads will begin to take a massive turn for the worse, obviously I pointed this out when the thread came up
unless you forcefully separate “top of the crop” players from that baby League, you will have most of the pilots from T5 ended up there, I don’t believe even big difference in rewards will be enough of an incentives for quite a few “wannabe be pro” players not to farm easy games in baby league.

got your point, that’s why this decision is not so simple and i’m talking only about a “direction”
