Particle Anomaly in Open Space When Flying the Object NY18

1. Description of the problem, what happened.

When I fly with the Object NY18 in open space mode and flip the ship 180 degree to any direction then continue to flying with afterburner to the same direction, the particles that supposed to fly by the ship end up coming from a point close above or below the ship while creating a star like anomaly.


2. What did you expected to happen.

The particles that help in creating the illusion of movement should originate from a distant point, not from right next to the ship.

Normal Open space flight.


4. Further details on the issue.

Additional effects has to be turned on. It happens only with the NY18 ship when using the secondary control mode. The ship has to be flipped 180 degree (with the default space or alt keys). And lastly, afterburner must be used. If the ship is flipped back to the original position, the anomaly disappears. Graphics settings have no effect on this issue.


5. Frequency of occurrence.

It happens all the time without exception. It has been like this ever since the ship was introduced.

Anyway. The latest patch fixed this problem. I can’t reproduce it anymore.
