I found nowhere to express how awesome I found this news :

so I thought I’d make a thread!
It’s good that keys to open world will be handed out and it’s good that the game will get some advertisement at E3! :good:
I just hope the Gaijin stand will not focus entirely on advertising Warthunder… :yes_yes:
Electronic Entertainment Expo
I don’t even understand. What new game mode? What does E3 do?
I am sorry for askin’ all these question. Not versed in the ways of the outside world.
What new game mode?

outside world.
Nearly. Open world.
(been living under a rock?)
Advertising, awesome, yes, they really need some. Handing out keys only to people who have the money and devotion to go to LA, who probably have already bought enough standards to get into Closed Beta anyways? Less awesome.

So you think only those will get keys who are already players? Did you think this through? The whole point of this is to get new players.

To be honest I don’t know how companies usually do this at E3, but if I were Gaijin, i wouldn’t give the keys away to anyone that turns up on the day, but maintain the current “closed beta” status of Invasion by handing them out just to journalists. That way they get the advertisment but also create a buzz around it (if the journalists like what they see, which they will!!!)

Then I hope the don’t try to explore the wildlands…it will be a massacre.

…probably, since the most addicting part of the game is still pvp, and the pings can give a pretty bad impression atm in open world, if you have bad luck…
any news on what they actually show on e3? if someone already stumbled in from there? do they have a scheduled show? i am really interested in the resonance there

I went on the E3 website and all I found out was that Gaijin has two stands, no idea what they are showing though. They’ll probably have a computer and show some gameplay? I’ll keep a look out for the devs in open world.
Smile at the camera!! (I’ll just embarrass myself trying to kill them…)
Maybe they give them Hunter ships to fly and hunt cocky players, and the AI would know about EM field but the journalists are xxxx.
