Parking Spot Pilgrim

Basically it’s a Pilgrim build that relies on active shield tanking which i believe is the proper way of playing it with Emergency landing mod for maximum usability and survivability.

Key aspects of the build are the 3b implant that increases the volume of the shield, increased volume and EM resist in shield slots and 3 actives that provide additional resistance points for tanking power on demand + the passive aegis effect that gives additional resistance points at all times prior to activation.

To properly  defend  yourself, activate each of the 3 actives (energy converter, aegis and multipurpose) in whatever succession you want or deem best for a situation but do not activate them at the same time, save them only when u need them, remember, you can heal up everything every 18 seconds with your special so learn to sacrifice something for the sake of sparing actives if they wont give you a kill or the objective, they are there to prevent your death. Emergency barrier will help you out in a lot of ways to survive too so use it as a trump card to survive without using actives if you can.

To deal damage or kill something or someone, you have the ion emitter as the weapon of choice, it can lower the targets resistances by 80 points and what better to combine it with than inhibitor missiles that lower the resistance points for 50 as well. So in total we are looking at 130 resistance points just deleted from a target which gets them most likely into negative resistance values if they don’t disengage or activate something to increase the resistance numbers or counter them. The ions deal about 4k+ dps with gunship level of crit stats which is sufficient enough with the debuffs in store and Landing buffs in general.

One trick you can also use is to damage yourself in parking mode while activating the energy converter to force-feed and redirect that damage instantly to any target as a surprise attack but you have to be really fast. If you cant make any inhibitor missiles, use doomsdays or ion missiles, they are just as effective. This build is probably the best optimum with this special, the special is mainly used as a source of repairs, defense and offense in one, but mainly repairs.

I hope you have a good time trying out this build. ![:)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001j.png “:)”)

Nice, I had my eye on the Pilgrim for some time now. One question though - how does it fare in Conquest, compared to Granite? It’s a lot to hope for, but can you for example land with the bomb on the enemy dread and plant while protected by the shield, or at least capture(and if yes, does dmg to the big shield prevent capturing)? Also, can you land on an asteroid, and what happens if that asteroid gets blown to pieces while you’re on it? Ok, so maybe more than one question…

It has its own gimmick where it force-drops the enemy bomb from the enemy if u hit it with the shroud.

Nope, too much advantage.

It might be able to capture, while under the dome, beacons and things but 30k of 0 resistance volume lasts a very very short time in endgame when focused by a damage dealer.

Yep

It detaches from it.
