In game options, being able to tick “Prefer not to join mid-game”
It’s ok to wait a little more for a match. I just don’t want to start in an already lost game.

so players with 70%+ win ratio, how do they defy laws of statistics? Are they just that lucky?

My problem is not the midgame join, my problem is the too short games. The games become more stupid since the midgame join, but I think the idea itself is not bad.
Specially with the small playerbase, and the queue where you have no idea you’ll get a game ever or not.
I think implement this “checkbox” is too much work and we won’t win much with it so I would say no for this. There are so many other issues what they have to solve (4man squad, social functions, SQ system, leagues, laboratory?..).
I would support a MM tweak what can guarantee even if you midjoin you still be able to play at least 5-7min.

The ups and downs of this are apparent. The simple addition of this option would be very nice, and would not interfere with the current system if it is defaulted to off. +1 To toggling in-progress battles.

i agree. I like it. And if i had 4 man squads i would not mind waiting 10 minutes. Just like with dreads…
But i mind having so many random games. And this way of joining contributes to that. I just want less randomness. I agree with you guys: Midgame makes waiting times dreamlike, but i want it to be a fight.
