If thats just based on the leader boards then your sadly mistaken, NASA has skill and can care less about the points…
They brought me in as well… to make it easier on other people to get a kill on at least one NASA squad member.
Between being a chat mod… and now a NASA member… people will really be gunning for me now. lol

I think it’s time for option number three.

Seeing a NASA squad on the other team means I must get ready for an extremely hard match. Dynamis is currently on top (in my opinion) because we have very active members, all whom play match after matchwith little to no down time in-between. If all NASA members did the same, I am almost certain that they would be on top. They are a group of competitive players with really good skill. I have nothing but respect for them. Well, some fear also, but mostly respect.
I also can identify pilots by flying behavior, so I have a good idea of who you are and what your skill level is before I even lock on to you. Once I know who you are, I can recall specifics like how to force you to commit, your typical evasion pattern, how good your situational awareness is, etc.
Oh? Now I’m curious…
Analyze me.
very useless in battle, complains about T3, seen you on my team and got last place multiple times, you fly in straight lines that makes you easy to kill, don’t run emergency barrier on your tackler, Complain that you can’t kill something when you were obviously were missing when i was on your team. I would say stay to T2 because your abilities as a pilot are very poor at best in T3. Think of it like this if you were training to be a professional boxer would you want to train with a 5 year old kid as a sparring partner or would you want someone that is better than you.

You have a lot of bad habits, many of which my cohort already has laid out in a not so glamorous fashion. Ultimately, Zero is correct in just about every point he makes, so you should try to view it as advice.
I see your biggest problem being your attitude, especially when you take to complaining in battle. I was really surprised by the volume of it.
I get the frustration. I still get frustrated sometimes too. But if you take every loss as an opportunity to learn, losses are much less frustrating, and you begin to understand that they are a requirement to get better. Keep in mind that all the successful pilots in NASA and other corporations were not always that way, myself included.
A novice player will look at why they lose as something wrong with the game balance, blaming others, etc, because they do not have the knowledge of the game mechanics and tactics that a more experienced player has. I love Korean Starcraft players, with maybe a slight biased as I am part Korean(I also have Russian heritage ), because they have such a great mentality towards this as gamers. When they lose matches, they tend to say “Well, I just need to work harder and get better”. That is the same attitude of the best professional athletes in any sport.
So you have a choice to make, and that is whether you want to spend the time to learn the game and play it at a higher level or not. It is a process with no end point because perfection is impossible and there will always be someone better than you.
Until you are ready and willing to get out of your current mindset, there really isn’t much point to my speaking/writing to you about anything else. . Give a man a fish, yaddyaddah… I have handed you the toolkit to success, the rest is up to you.
Good luck. I look forward to seeing you become a better pilot.
I agree with your outlook on this game completely ELMustacho all pilots need to read this i am the first to admit I have a lot to learn and master in this game I would say that 40% of my corp members are better than me so i learn from everyone i play with and play against when we loose i will quite often say “well guys we got beaten by the better team or players lets try this again without the sucking” LOL

Ouch. I suppose I can understand the “useless” part as of late, since I’ve been on my laptop which is laggy as heck.
In my defense, I would like to point out that many of the times I came in last, I was focusing on objectives. Sadly, you only get points for captures, kills, and assists. So chasing enemies off beacons without killing them, and/or healing wounded teammates doesn’t help your score. :fed003:
And what’s with the “go back to T2” bit? I thought you guys wanted us to move up the ranks? You can’t tell us to stop zerging T2 and then in the same breath tell us (or me, rather) that we ought to stay in T2. That’s just sending mixed signals.
@Mustacho: Do I really complain in-game that often? I’d always thought I saved most of my ire for the forums. :fed007: Also, I was meaning more of “what clues do you have that it’s me flying the ship”; I wasn’t really looking for a whole psych profile.
Calm your tits.
The “go back to T2” is synamous with the comeback “Ace”
I have to agree with mustacho though.
I started this game when Me and and Tactical (our CEO) were both in another corporation, and before the steam release.
I have to say that learning from your mistakes and truly pushing yourself to get better is one way to look at it.
For me, I always have the goal to get #1 score in a single match, If I came 2nd or 3rd, then i punish myself for not doing better. I really try to help my team and really go into every match, “Okay, whos my enemy? Whats the map type? Who is on my team? etc.”
Quite interesting to read evaluation of someone. Maybe we need a topic for that? “Analyze the player”
I got you covered.
“Judge the player above me” topics rarely end well…
Where could this “critic” thread be under?
