Only Guns for PVE "for newbies"

’Dag’tnith’ Launcher , Coil Mortar , Halo’ Launcher… If your new to the game  and want to win PVE you need to use these weapons  … they all do high DPS and are all AOE weapons that kill turtles and destroyers with static shields they go on DESTROYERS and LONG RANGE FRIGATES … these are the only ships you should take into PVE and when I say PVE I mean Defense Contract … The most played and most popular PVE in game. Destroyers should be ranged at 7280 meters and the LRF should be HIGH Crit and ranged at 3650-5000 meters LRF’s should be high strafe and full afterburners at all times  … dodging not tanking   … The LRF’s job is to kill turtles  , snipers and engines       you do that and the destroyer can take the cruiser solo … I am sick and tired of loosing defense Contract at rank 15 because destroyers use Meson Cannon or Coilgun or  LRF’s think they can actually kill a cruiser only using a sniper weapon the whole match.

Singularity cannon is also a fantastic weapon if you play fighters. Pierces any enemy shield and some objects. Good for taking out multiple targets at once.

Only use Flux phaser if you max single-shot damage and if you KNOW you are good at using it. Otherwise it is a fantastic waste of time for you and your allies.

Ion emitters are only useful against heavy targets, not swarms of enemies.

All interceptor weapons are useless. Phase inhibitor is OK but only if you know how to use it. Always go for AoE>damage on main weapons tho. Opposite on missiles.

Plasma missiles > normal missiles > nukes

I disagree, a group of e.g. Demomans is faster dead if I use Ion Emitter instead of Railgun or Gaus cannon.

Rails are faster than gauss and hit more reliably than ions as far as I can tell.

Thilit deals with swarms much better ![:)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001j.png “:)”)

Yes but.

Requres the market.

So does the dagtnith so I guess they’re both off the table.

to be fair, at tier 3, sk’rah, thi’lith, and dag’tnith are easy to get, so it’s not like the players will have trouble with the market, if anyone wants them then i will sell them at min price

Turrets have a range of 5500m, so LRF with 5600 range and coil mortar will do. It still can solo the cruiser if positioned properly before spawn (rear quadrant).
