Hey guys… i havent played Star Citizen in … well… ages. Alot has changed since i last played, and i figured i’d give it a try again.
Just have a few questions though…
Seem’s the Assignments/contracts system has changed rather drastically since i last played. But, i still have some old ‘legacy’ contracts in my Assignments window. I managed to complete one of them… but i cant actually ‘complete’ it due to it giving me the error message of " Failed to complete Mission. Error: no mission " Is there some way i can maybe contact a Dev so that they can take a look at my account and see if they can clean up the old legacy stuff? Or am i going to be stuck with missions showing up that i cant complete? =)
The open world: Exactly how do you go about collecting resources for the new crafting thing?.. i mainly decided to give Star Conflict another try due to seeing the video about the Destroyers being released soon =) So would like to know what i need to do to go about preparing for that while i try to work my way threw the new ship-tree system.
Ship Weapons: I could have sworn that at one point, you could put different types of weapons on every ship (balistic, energy, em… that sorta thing) Is that no-longer the case? or are you stuck with a pre-determined set of weapons now?
You can PM Error on the forum, he is usually quite helpful. If you are patient enough, you can make a full bug report in the bug report section, with logs etc, and have Skula have a look at it. Make you sure you follow the guidelines exactly though.
You need to bind the key for collect/interact if it is not already done.then you can just pick up minerals by interacting with rocks, containers and other objects. then you can craft cool things in the workshop. For most items you also need monocrystals which are gained by completing the “golden” missions (one per faction per day) to a maximum of 6 mono per day, or 9 with a license.
In low ranks you are stuck with one weapon. Once you reach higher levels, you can install many types of weapon. At the higher tiers there are 5 weapons per ship class (interceptor, fighter, frigate) plus certain role-specific weapons for 6 of the roles.
Welcome back to the game! And I woulf recommend you have a look at these videos:

Im able to interact with them… the issue is ‘seeing’ them to know to fly to them =) Was wondering if there was any way to make them show up on the HUD or if you just had to visually find them before collecting them.

there is a keybind that makes everything visible, but I can’t remember what it’s called. Next time I’m in game, I’ll tell you

ship status (use the toggle one). You will see any container/mineral at 2km or less. Spatial scanner shows you containers, fuel cels and minerals at 6km max (green colored). If you want to get crafting materials, the best is salvaging mk2-4 upgrade kits.
