Some days (like today…) I can’t play a descent game without frustration. While I am in a game, I suddenly get 10000+ ping and just watch my ship float through space without any control. I alt+tab and connect to my router via the web UI and when I check the connectivity to the Internet, the diagnostic says that I have lost connection with the ISP’s gateway…
During this period, I am totally disconnected from the internet. Sometimes, the game disconnects me from the game, due to “a network error” and I have the option to get back to battle…I press yes and I start flying the ship but in a few seconds, 10000+ ping and all over again…
Now the strange part is that some days I play for 4-5 hours without any problem, some days, I can’t seem to play 10 mins…
I have opened some UDP ports that I have found in the forums but still the problem randomly appears…
Anyone else has these problems??
The thing that makes me wonder is that it’s not only a lag issue with the game servers…my whole internet connection drops and this happens only when I am playing SC…
Any suggestions?
