I was going to download and play the game today, but turns out I have slower internet than I thought.

Not today, so i put it away.
At those download speeds, it sounds like you are going to have major trouble flying any ship type without a crazy amount of lag-induced wobble. Like, dubstep levels of wobble.
When/If you do succeed in downloading the game, be warned that you very well might find the game un-flyable.
