Not getting any kills for operation 'Chill' mission using KWP icebolt

I’m trying to complete the mission operation ‘Chill’ where you have to get 100 kills with the KWP icebolt in PVE and it is not registering any kills I get with it even though it is the only weapon that I am using.

The description of the mission is wrong you have to use the fighter weapon.

It worked for me. I did it with a Tier 4 recon. Have you tried a different tier?

I did it in T4 Tackler Tiger 2 with beam weapons
