Nodachi or Nodachi EW?

Is it me or the Nodachi is simply better than the Nodachi EW?

 

Basically those two ships have same slots config, but the nodachi has 3 engine slots (one more that Nodachi EW wich has just 2) and one cpacitor slot (one less than Nodachi EW wich has 2 capacitors slots)…

I mean i find the third engine slot on the Nodachi much more useful than the 2nd capacitor slot on the Nodachi EW…

 

And not to mention about ship bonuses: on the Nodachi u get a very useul 20% more duration on ECM modules and a great 10% more speed; on the Nodachi EW u get 23% less AB energy draw and 20% more on missile reloading speed…

 

Obviously on the Nodachi EW u can get one more implant (lvl 12) but even so i find the lvl 11 nodachi better than the lvl 12 Nodachi EW

 

Any opinion?

On the other hand… The EW is energy stable and self sufficient at some level = more fun to fly.

All 3 of them have DIFFERENT roles within the fleet. They’re all equally as good, trust me.

Its a tough pick. 

I would say: If you are in a squad: Go Nodachi, if you are alone: Go EW. 

 

OR just dont care and go Tempest… at least you dont have to worry about parasites anymore.

Think i’ll go for nodachi. I find it’s better than nodachi EW even flying on my own and it doesn’t run out of energy so easily with a leak stabilizer…And the only way i found to get some use of the extra capacitor slot on the Nodachi EW is just putting a Power Unit Conduit to get more and decent speed (always with the leak stabilizer)…Already tried with shield regen but doesn’t look that great…

If you can live without an Emergency Barrier go for Nodachi!

Ew for me due to the energy stable part - Even with the Nadachi being faster, I find the EW nicer to fly and I can also fit an EB and an Iridium heatsink

 

Both my builds are pretty much identical for each ship
