The only options I have available to me on a Raptor Mk II are Positron and Beam Cannons, that’s it.

It imght be getting unlocked from rank 5 or 6, then you can equip it on rank 4
Yes I think it is simply a rank 5-6 unlock open which you can use it for ranks 4-6 from then on.
Old players will not see the missing weapon because they are up to rank 15 
All this unlocking in the middle of a tier is weird.
