ok so i would put this thread in the rite place but have NO idea where it is to go and i cant post everywhere so dont tell me off just move to the rite spot if you could…

 

 

ok so i have a problem with the contracts system, its confusing and not 100% clear you will on a daily basis see people on chat asking wtf is it why blah blah blah… my problem is the price of the guns when you have spent a “x time” slugging it out to get Mk3 gear by that stage you are about to switch up a tier… only to find out you should level a further 3 to get mk3 guns that are just under half the price of the ship you just bought… to much for to little. lower the gun prices or making it less time consuming to get them. im not going to work my ship for a week getting plasma mk3 cannons to stick in the ship im about to leave in the hanger for good or near enough to it. 

 

i feel its a waste of time and a waste of credits.

if you had everything unlocked, all ships. all modules. would you still play Star Conflict ?

I play to get better and to beat my competition. I may have mentioned it before, but I hardly notice my experience/reputation/income because I’m focussed on playing the game. To that end, I don’t have much of an opinion on having things unlocked for me.

I feel that loyalty gain is too slow. It was quite acceptable back in the day when reputaion and loyalty was awarded after each battle in equal amounts. Back then the contract system was just supplementary. Now it’s a hassle to resign the “win” contract everytime, the 600 ish loyalty, which represent a drop in the bucket really, should be recieved by the player automatically after his/her team won. It just takes a long period of time to farm the increasing amount of loyalty for six subfactions and I personally have a high pain threshhold for farming because of the farm fest that was or still is i guess KalOnline, where the required experience for character levels grew literally exponentially:  y=x².

I think the money gain is ok at the moment, albeit the steep costs for t4 ships hemper my asperiation to advance to that particular tier.

Don’t get me wrong, this game is quite the fun and i’m looking for my Cerberus 2 in 7,2 million credits time.
