How exactly does it work ? If i start shooting at them i get “poor yield” or “very poor yield”. Do i need a special ship or a mod ? If yes then what ship/mod.
It’s easiest to mine with weak laser weapons. You want to heat the asteroid up to as close to 99% as possible without going over, or it will explode.
The interface updates very slowly, so it is kind of difficult to get perfect. I’ve only gotten a good yield like twice ever.
Another way to go for it is to overload it with a high-damage weapon, for example ion emitter, but you will require high ranking chips focused on DPS.
