I just upgraded my Nvidia driver from 340.46 to 343.22 (Linux) & am seeing problems ingame.
Firstly- with my Frig in openspace-My drones do not appear (like they are invisible)-although the “healing beams” show up when damaged. I also do not see any of the missle launchers (the surounding box shows up).
Next, in the hanger (Federation)- the projected guy has half of his equiptment missing.
In PvP, my frig again has invisible drones.
I can supply screenshots if needed.
Screenshots would be very welcome.
Well–I have to take the screenshot bit back…I play thru Steam (running Linux–not going to install windows–so Steam is about the only way to play) & I see that I can try to take screenshots–they just as not being saved… It is looking like it’s all about the new driver–I go to another install I have (the older driver) & everything works as normal. So I guess I just have to wait for Nvidia to get it’s act together or roll back the driver…
